-Alec POV-
I wake up the next morning on the couch after I knew Magnus locked me out of the bedroom.
After a couple minutes I heard the bedroom door open and saw Magnus walk in with a tear stained and makeup smudged face.
I scoot over and pat the couch but he shakes his head looking at the window.
"You and me hung out with each other all day yesterday. And I want you to chose. That's all I ask."
I nod my head and I sit on the couch for half an hour before I know what I need to do. I stand up and see Magnus in the kitchen.
I open the door and head out walking to the institute.
Once I get to the institute I see Jace and he noticed my nervous facial expression.
"You okay?"
I look him in the eye and shake my head.
"I need to end this. Before we catch more feelings. I know this sounds bad but I just needed to know if I actually love you and at the end I want and need to be with Magnus. I'm sorry but I can't do this."
Jace tells me he understands and I then leave the institute heading home to find Magnus
