The Kiss -Malec/Jalec

I wake up the next morning remembering that me and Jace have to talk about the kiss and why he didnt hesitate in kissing me again.

I once again get in my gear and stop at the bedroom door looking at Magnus. Feeling too guilty I dont kiss him goodbye and walk out the door heading to the institute.

I get to the institute after taking the long route and enter the training room, getting ready for the hunt me and Jace have to go on.

Once I'm in the middle of shooting my bow I hear the familiar sound of the door open. Turning around I see Jace. My heart stops not knowing what he's going to say.

"Izzy and Clary are going on the mission. You and I are staying here." I nod my head and turn to the target, thinking Jace has forgot or never actually likes me.

Knowing Jace he sensed this and came next to me throwing a knife at the target as well.

"Can we talk?"

"Of course." I answer him, putting my bow down. Both of us sitting on the table. Jace tells me that we are Parabatai and it's a little weird for him, since he doesn't know what he is, but he wants to try if I'm willing.

My mind instantly goes to Magnus but this is the guy I've loved since I was ten and I want to know if it's actually love.

I nod my head slowly and look over at Jace, noticing his golden hair and multi colored eyes.

"You purposely changed the mission didn't you?" I ask him with a smile.

He nods his head and jumps off the table picking up his knife. Throwing it back at the target.

"5:35 my room? Talk more?"

I jump off the table as well and stand next to him.

"Okay." I reply.

During the long day many people have gone home or went into their bedrooms. Clary and Izzy going out to catch up with simon.

Now around 5:40 I decided that I need to get to Jace's room so I make my way down the hallway, knocking on the last door the the left.

Jace opens it up and let's me in, keeping the door open. We both sit on the bed and talk a little about the kiss.

After we talk he leans in again and kisses me, I as well kiss back forgetting about the open door and being in the Institute.
