Kanan and Ezra Moments : Just You and Me

Chapter 11 : Ezra Sick

Kanan p.o.v.

When I was sleeping, I heard something. So I woke up to see how Ezra doing. I went to Ezra's room. I opened the door and saw Ezra felt not comfortable in his sleep. I sat in bed then I placed my hand in Ezra's forehead. His body was warm. Ezra was sick. So I called Doctor Hera to checked my son.

Time Skip

I heard Doctor Hera knocked the door and I opened the door. Then I delievered her to my son's room. Arrived in Ezra's room, she started checking him. After she checked, she told me.

"Ezra has a fever, Kanan. He needs​ to take medicine and get some rest."

Then she gave me medicine to me. Soon after that, I heard someone knocked the door and I opened the door. It turned out, it was Jun. He brought chicken soup his recipe.

"Hello my friend, I heard Ezra sick. So I bring soup for him."

"Thanks Jun. You so nice."

"That's what the neighbors are for, Kanan. Can I see your son ?"

"Oh, sure. Come in." I said as Jun and me went to Ezra's room.

Arrived in Ezra's room, Jun put his soup on the table. Then Ezra looked at him and Jun started talking with my son as he rubbed his hair.

"Hello Ezra. I bring soup for you. I hope you get well son."

"Thank you, Mr. Sato." Ezra said to him.

Time Skip

Ezra p.o.v.

I started waking up when I heard my dad's voice as he tried to wake me.

"Ezra, wake up son. Your friends are here."

Then Sabine and Zeb went to my room while they brought something for me. Sabine said to me as she gave it for me.

"Hey Ezra, my mother said you sick di we made something for you. I hope you liked."

Then I opened it and it turned out, it was photo of me, Sabine, and Zeb when we took picture together. I smiled at them as I said thank you. They smiled at me and made me happy.

At night, dad fed me with his neighbor's soup. After that, I took photo frame that Zeb and Sabine gave to me. Then I looked behind of photo frame and saw a little note. I started reading.

For Ezra

From Sabine

That was my first support. My friend, Sabine supported me. I felt happier than before. Then my dad went to my room as he brought my guitar.

"Hey son, how are you feeling ?"

"I started feel better."

"Because I sing for you so you feel better."

Then my dad sang a song Safe and Sound from Talyor Swift. I enjoyed mu dad's voice and that was made me sleep.

Kanan p.o.v.

I'm happy when I saw my son smiling as he smiled. I kissed his forehead as I said to him.

"Good night, Starlight. Get well soon."
