Its been a month since Harley died. The kids have gotten their smile back. They love to play in their room. I go into my room and put all the pictures of Harley and me back up. I place my wedding ring back on then sit down on the bed. The guys have tried everything to cheer me up. Nothing ever works, I haven't even left the house in the past month. I don't even go out to feed. Today is mine and Harley's anniversary. We would have been married for three years now. With her gone, I've never felt more empty. I want my wife back. "Awe, mommy, please?" I heard Lucy say. What? I get up and go to their room. I stand there and listen. "Lucy, quiet sweetheart." Harley's sweet voice smiles. What??. I open the door to see Harley playing with the kids. "Harley?" I breathe softly as the wind was knocked out of me. My wife is alive! How is this possible? I drop to my knees, shocked. Harley backed up, scared of me. I get up and go over to her. She scoots over into the corner, still terrified. "Daddy, don't hurt her!" Lucy pulls on my pant leg. I go over and hug her. "I love you so much." I cry into her sweet shoulder. She was stiff and didn't move. I pull back and look at her. "Harley?" I touch her face with my hand. She looked at me, scared. "Baby, I'm not going to hurt you. I love you." I tell her softly. She didn't speak to me or acknowledge me. I pull back and look at her. "Harley, I'm not going to hurt you ever again. It's going to be like we were before." I look into her eyes; she was scared. "Harley? Baby, what's wrong?" I breathe softly as I have my hands on the sides of her face. She closes her eyes and thinks about me killing her. "No, no, I would never," I promise her. "We were being controlled." I hug her. "Really?" She asks softly. "Yes, love, that's why you attacked Lucy, and I attacked you. It was all Sarah. Sarah is Damien's sister. She wanted to kill our family because I killed hers." I explain. "Really?" She asks. "Yes, love." I keep my hands on her face. "I love you. I've always loved you. I would never hurt you. You know that." I breathe softly. "Zachary." She tackles me to the ground. "Oh, Zachary." She lies on top of me, hugging me. The kids then jumped on and began to embrace us as well. Our family is together again. I couldn't be any happier. Everyone soon gets off of me and stands up. I go over to Harley and kiss her sweet lips. "Awww." Lucy smiles. I place my hands on Harley's hips and pull her closer to me. "I've missed you." I breathe between kisses. "Same." She breaths. I want her so bad right now. If the kids weren't standing there, I'd have my chance to love her. Harley smirked at my thought. "Happy anniversary, baby." I breathe. "Happy anniversary." She breaths back. I pull back and look at the kids. They were smiling up at us. "Mommy, you and daddy should go out to dinner." Lucy smiles. "Wonderful idea ." I smile. Harley smiles back up at me. I take her hand, and we go into our room. She looks around to see it was like she never left. She goes over to the closet and looks at all her things. "Sweetheart, you should take a shower." I tell her, kindly. I love her, but she has a funky smell going on. "Alright." She smiles. She walks over to our bathroom, closing the door. I look over at my kids, thankful that all is well. My wife is back home and home to stay. I love her with all of my heart. I go into our room, closing the door and going into our bathroom.

I heard the water running in the shower. I saw her outline washing her hair. "Harley?" I call her. "What?" She asks me with a hint of irritation in her voice. "I want to tell you; I love you so much. I'm sorry for trying to kill you." I apologize. She paused then shook quickly, hiding it. "Baby, I want things to go back to the way they were. I want you and me as close as we were. No, I want us closer than that—you're my world, my stone. I'm keeping my vows I made to you on our wedding day. You mean so much to me. You don't know how hard it was to tell you I don't love you. It was so hard to attempt to kill you. I was just looking into the eyes of the woman who owns my soul, the mother of my children. It was so hard on me. Just I had to protect my children." I explain myself. She was silent, not saying a word. "Harley?" I open the door of the shower to see her crying. "Baby, what's wrong?" I ask her softly. She looks at me, scared, not able to talk. "Harley, listen to me. I will never hurt you." I tell her. She looked down at the floor as she covered herself. "Harley, what's going on? Why are you scared of me? Do you still have a fear of me?" I ask her softly. She looked at the floor, unable to speak. I go in the shower going over to her. The water soon soaked into my clothes. I go to her, placing my hands on her hips. "Harley Ann, listen to me. I will never hurt you. I love you. You're my wife. I love you so much." I tell her. She nods her head. I go to put my hands on the side of her face, but she races away from me. She stood in the corner, farthest away from me. "Harley?" I call her, not understanding.
