Chapter 13 ( Where ) Donnie P. O. V.

I nodded and started to jog back home until I heard singing. I turned around walked back towards Hope. All I heard was

"...From the ice inside your soul,

So don't come back for me, who do you think you are

Donnie, Who do you think you are?"

My eyebrows knitted together in confusion. Then I heard walking and sniffling getting closer. I quickly ran home and looked at the entrance. April walked over and whispered in my ear, "Who was humming that loudly?" I turned towards her and whispered, "That was Hope singing." "About what?" she asked confused. I shook my head no and looked back at the entrance and I saw Hope with bloodshot eyes as if she had been crying. Mikey went up to her.and asked something. Her eyes had a panicked look in her eyes. "Did you hear the lyrics?" Everyone but, Master Splinter and I shook their heads no. eyes.started to water. It made me sad to see her sad and about to cry. I even felt worse thinking if I made her cry. I heard Mikey shout, "Okay, dudette!" as he ran to the t.v. Hope gestured to April and walked into the dojo. A few minutes she came out with determined look on her face. She walked into my room and left the slightly open. April had walked towards the entrance and motioned me to follow her. I grabbed some of the retro mutagen and left with April.

We found her dad on the roof looking down at the city. We crept behind him and quickly poured it on him. He screeched and then it sounded like mam yelling. "Daddy, you're back!" April screamed as she hugged him.
