Chapter 11. New teammates

Third Person's P.O.V

Yasu just had reported everything to Lord Hokage along with her fight with Kimimaru and was now going home to unpack and rest before tomorrow since Hokage already had assigned her on another mission together with some two chunins and one jonin. Yasu didn't complain and thought it was fair enough since she got plenty of rest while on her recent mission.

The next morning Yasu woke up early and packed for another mission. She ate breakfast and when went to the spot where she is suppose to meet her team for the mission.

When she got here the teammates were already present. It was a girl and two boys.

“Good morning, my name is Yasu and I will be tagging along with you on this mission” Yasu introduced herself while bowing. One of the boys returned the gesture while the girl just glared at her and the other boy lazily waved.

“Nice to meet you, Yasu-san, my name is Shin” the boy, which had bowed to me before greeted. He was the tallest of them all, had fascia eyes and dark brown hair held up in a messy pony-tail.” This is Katsu” he gestured to the other boy, who was only slightly shorter than Shin and had very intense blue eyes and above the right one was some sort of tattoo. His skin too was slightly darker and he had long purple hair held in high pony-tail by two black hairpin. He had a cigaret dangling from the corner of his mouth and looked very relaxed and carefree. “And this is Nana” the girl had raven black hair which reached her mid-back and red/dark pink eyes. She wore a short black kimono and had a katana strapped to her side. Actually all of them wore black which I found strange.

“ So in this is going to be a C-rank mission and I was assigned as the captain of the team and according to hokage-sama's orders Yasu-san is to be second-in-command-”

“ What?! We don't we even need her!!! We are as good as we are and on top of that second-in-command?! She is not only a mere genin, but also a brat how can she be second-in-command! ”Nana shouted fuming

“Calm down, Nana-chan, I'm sure Hokage-sama knows that he is doing” Shin reassured her.

“I must be second-in-command because I'm the strongest one after you, Shin!!!” Nana continued shouting letting a few curses escape her mouth along the lines.

“*sight*” Shin sighted. “Katsu, please calm Nana” Shin pleaded his teammate's, which gave him impassive glance, but complied nonetheless.

“Nana-chan, please”those words were all needed for kunoichi to shut up and obey like a loyal puppy would do to his master.

“Now I'll tell you that the mission is going to be” Shin started and this gained both his comrades attention finally” We will be searching for one of the sannins, Jiraya-sama, and we will have to deliver him Hokage-sama's letter. But the problem is that his whereabouts are unknown. The last time he was spotted in the Hoshigakure and was heading to Kumogakure so we have a long journey to make.” we all nodded and with that headed to the gates of Konoha.

Yasu and her new teammates have been traveling for a while in utter silence only Nana glaring at Yasu from time to time. Finally after some time Shin fell instep with Yasu

“Please forgive Nana for how she acts it is a hard time for her, actually for all of us”he sighted again

“You don't need to tell me anything I don't hate her or anything and I would never do no matter that”

“No, I need to, because it will affect our teamwork greatly if we don't start getting along soon”he went silent for a few seconds, when started again” Nana, she is an orphan. She never knew and will probably never know anything about her parents. All she can remember is being alone. And in my opinion no one deserves that. She wasn't born in Konoha but in Iwa. Here everyone ignored her and she had no friends, no family – nothing. That was until one Konoha ANBU during her mission in Iwa saw her on the street all alone and asked to come with her. That woman was named Yuzuki. She was a very well known kunoichi for her unusual fighting style because she combined swordsmanship with ninjutsu. The woman took Nana with herself to Konoha and helped her grow up into a fine kunoichi just like Yuzuki was. When Nana graduated from ninja academy she was put on the same team with me and Katsu and our assigned sensei was Yuzuki. Two weeks before today she was killed by one of the swordsman of the mist. So now she is gone and as an only jonin in the team I'm assigned as it's captain. We all loved Yuzuki-sensei, but nothing loved her more than Nana and nothing can replace her so you can guess now where Nana's hatred for you comes from” Yasu just started into thin air her face completely void of emotions.
