Chapter 4

*Kat's POV*

I was tossing and turning all night. Its pretty normal for me though. I groaned and sat up. I looked over at Adam and he is fast asleep. I got up and went to get some water. I drank it and put the cup in the sink. As I was walking back I heard my phone vibrate. I walked to my pants and pulled out my phone. It was a text from Tony.

Tony: Hey you still awake? We need to talk.

Me: At 4am? Sure what is it?

Tony: I'm not going to rehab.

Me: Really?

Tony: Yeah. I can't stop smoking and dealing with drugs. I just can't..

Me: I know but it's bad and I don't want anything happening to you.

Tony: Don't worry Kat. I'm not leaving.

Me: Promise?

Tony: Promise.

Me: Good.

Tony: So did you smoke yet?

Me: No I don't have any cigarets.

Tony: Yeah you do. I gave you a box ealrier.

Me: Oh yeah. I don't know maybe. I gtg. I'll see you later

Tony: Ok bye.

I plugged in my phone so it can charge. I thought about what he said. Should I start smoking? I heard it takes your mind off of things but it is very bad. It never hurts to try right? I pulled out the box and the lighter. I went to the deck outside and took a cigaret out. I took a deep breathe and turned on the lighter. I put it in my mouth but soon regretted it. I coughed and coughed. It tastes so bad. I couldn't do it. I threw it out and threw away the rest of the cigarets. I used the lighter to light a candle. I have not realized that its almost 6 in the moring. I went to change.

*Adam's POV*

I was awake but kept my eyes close. I heard some foot steps and I knew Kat was awake. I opened my eyes and saw her texting. She was mumbling some stuff but I can't tell what she was saying. She grabbed something from her jacket and went outside. She coughed a lot and came back in. I shut my eyes and heard she say something about time. She went to her closet and grabbed some clothes. When she went into the bathroom to change I checked to the time on my phone. Its 6:30 and school starts at 7:15!! I quickly put on a shirt an pants and yelled "Bye Kat!" Then left and started running home. My mom is gonna be so pissed at me.
