Chapter 15

*Kat's POV*

So hanging out with Sandy is kinda boring.

"Your boring Sandy"

"So are you Kat"

"What can we do besides watch movies all day?"

"I don't know."

"Where's your parents and sister?"

"On a cruise ship."

"Why?"

"I told them they needed a weekend getway. All I wanted was the place by myself."

"Clever."

"Hey um Kat?"

"Yeah?"

"We haven't been at school for almost 2 weeks. We have to go back or else we will get in trouble again."

"Crap I forgot."

You see, Sandy's parents are like my guardians but they don't know that Sandy and I signed some paper work saying that they are. If we don't go to school every do often, the court will call her parents, they will find out, I will get sent to an adoption place. Its a whole big mess. Plus I don't really like other people.

"We'll go tommerow."

"I don't wanna."

"Me either."

"Oh shut up Tony's calling me."

I rolled my eyes. She really likes him. She got up and went to another room. Thanks for leaving me. I felt my phone vibrate. It was Jeff.

Jeff: Hey.

Me: Hiya.

Jeff: So I heard you and Adam got back together...

Me: Yeah. I know.

Jeff: What if he makes you cry again? I don't like him.

Me: Don't worry he won't. I'm sorry that you don't like Adam right now.

Jeff: Its just that...you used to hang out with him more and barley with me or Sandy or Tony.

Me: I'm sorry. How about you meet me at my apartment in the next 15 minutes and we can hang out here

Jeff: Alright. See you later.

"Sorry girl, but Tony just asked me out. Like a date"

"Really?"

"Yes!"

"That's great. You better tell me everything when you get back from this date."

"Ok mom."

*15 minutes later*

I was sitting on my couch on tumblr when my doorbell rung. I got up, opened the door and met Jeff.

"Aye change in plans. I heard there is this rich family that just moved into my buliding. You wanna have a look in there place?"

"Hell yeah. Just let me change."

*Sandy's POV*

Tony told me to dress nice but casual. I decided to wear a purple flannel and black ripped skinny jeans. I slipped on my vans and put on my beanie. I got a text from Tony. Oh god hes here. I walked outside and walked into his car.

"You look nice."

"So do you. So where are we going?"

"We are going to a park."

"Oh god please don't tell me that were having a picnic. I hate those."

"I know you to well. I hate them to"

I rolled my eyes an got a text from Kat.

Kat: Aye there's this new family that moved into Jeff's building. Were going to check it out.

Me: Without us?

Kat: We will get you some stuff. Got to go.

Me: Good luck.

"Who you texting?"

"Kat. She and Jeff are going to take some things from a new family that moved into his building."

"Without us?"

"That's what I said."

"Are you sure they could rob someone without us? I mean I have faint in them but we always have done that sort of thing together."

"Shit your right. I hope they will be ok."

*Kat's POV*

"Jeff this apartment is HUGE!"

"Yeah it is! Remember don't take to many things. We can always come back."

He winked and I smirked. I went into one of the bedrooms and I think this is a boys room. I found a whole drawer full of beanies! I grabbed like 5. I found a little box and when I opened it, I saw money. I didn't even bother counting. I just grabbed the whole box.

"Kat come we have to go now!"

"Ok ok. What happened!"

Before he could respond the door was flung opened and cops started to pile in the room.

Cop: Put your hands where I can see them!

Jeff and I looked at each other. We were both think we could make a run for it but theres to many cops.

Cop: I said put your hands where I can see them right now!

Jeff and I raised your hands. 2 cops came our way and cuffed us.
