Opposites Attract

Chapter 7

*Kat's POV*

My heart stopped and tears started to form but I didn't dare let them fall.

Me: Ok I will be right there.

Tony: Please hurry.

Me: Ok just hang tight.

"Sorry Kelly but I gotta go. Tell Adam I said bye."

She didn't even respond before I ran out the door. I ran to the subway station. I paid for a ticket and got on the first train. I took a seat and took off te wig,contacts,and glasses. Some people looked at me funny and I flipped them off. One lady said I was fake and I told her to go f*ck herself. I feel better now. My phone vibrated and it was a text from Adam.

Adam: Hey you alright? My mom just told me that you had to go.

Me: No! Tony is in jail!

Adam: Oh my god. I'm so sorry Kat. Is there anything I could do?

Me: No its alright. I'll call you later bye.

The train stopped and I pushed people out the way. I made it to the prison and asked the lady to visit Tony. They lead me to the room with other people visiting the prisoners. I saw Tony sitting on at a table. I ran up to him and he saw me and opened his arms out. I jumped into his arms.

"I'm sorry Kat"

A guard came up to us and told us to be quieter. I glared at him and let go of Tony and sat down.

"What did you do?"

"This guy has been blackmailing me and he told me to sell more drugs and then I got caught."

"Why didn't you tell me someone was blackmailing you."

"Because he said that he would take you and our friends away."

"I hate this guy for blackmailing you. How long has this been going on?"

"Over a year.

My eyes widen. A year? How could he have kept this up? I punched him in the arm. Hard.

"Um OW! What was that for?!?!"

"For not telling me for a year. I don't keep secerts from you do I?"

"No."

I sighed and ran my hand through my hair, still trying to process what he said. I want to see this guy.

" I want to see this person."

"What? Hell no Kat. Your not going near him."

I was about to say something but the guard said that your time was up. I hugged Tony and left. After I got out I didn't realized that it was night time. I decided to call Adam. He didn't answer. I have to figure out what i'm going to do about Tony. I went home. I opened the door and all of a sudden I got angry. I yelled and yelled and yelled. I threw stuff around the apartment and then I slide down the wall, crying my eyes out. I hugged my knees to my chest. I never cry but I just let everything out. Then my phone rang and I got up to answer it.

"Hey Kat. Sorry I didn't get to answer earlier. What happened with Tony?"

"He-he-he..."

"Kat are you crying?"

"N-n-n-o."

"I'm coming over there."

"Y-y-you do-"

"I'm coming."

He hung up and I thoss my phone on the couch. I try to relax a bit. About 10 minutes later I heard a knock on my door. I open it up and see Adam.

"Oh baby."

He pulled me into a hug. I held on to him tightly. I silently cried into his shoulder.

"I don't know what to do anymore. Can you stay the night?"

"Of cousre."

My eyes started to get heavy and then i'm fast asleep.

*Adam's POV*

I feel so bad for Kat. She has cried so much. She is the kind of person that is strong but I guess she isn't today. I still have her in my arms and she fell asleep. I picked her up and walked over to her dresser. I opened one of the and luckly it as some comfy clothes. I took out some sweat pants and a tee shirt. I set them down and began to undress her. She is so damn beautiful. But I wouldnt do anything to her if you know what I mean. I put the clothes on her and tucked her into bed. I took off my shirt and pants and my glasses. I climbed into bed and wrapped my arms around her. I kissed the top of her head and fell asleep.
