JAY

I walked into the salon, hoping I would see my sister. But all I saw was Annie dancing to a country song while she was cleaning up.

I needed to grab a few things from the office quickly and then I would leave. Though something about the way she was dancing distracted me for a second. She hadn't even noticed we were here until she spun around singing part of the chorus and jumped back a little bit.

"Oh my god" She gasped. "You guys scared me." She laughed a little bit.

"Hey there Gorgeous!" Knockout commented with a playful wink.

I clenched my jaw when I noticed out the corner of my eye, him winking at her. I was trying not to punch the shit out of him for that. He's lucky he's my best friend. Though then again, why the hell am I getting so jealous and possessive? It's not like she was mine. Well, Yet.....

I shake the thoughts of me wanting to grab her by the waist and start kissing her.

"I need to grab a few things from the office real quick." I said while walking passed her towards the back.

After I was done, I noticed on my way out to where they were, that him and her were talking. About what, I don't know. What I do know though is that whatever he was telling her, it made her laugh and smile.

I walked up and interrupted their conversation.

        "We've gotta go." I say.

"Wait. She was going to cut my hair." Knockout said.

"We don't got time." I snapped.

"Oh, I can do it really quick." Annie interrupts.

"No!" I snapped at her with a glare. Which I could tell scared her a little bit cause she flinched a little as though I was going to punch her.

"Damn Jay. Calm the hell down!" Knockout replied.

Without saying another word I continued to walk outside towards my bike. But before I opened the door, I heard Knockout tell Annie he'd see her tomorrow for the cut.

The HELL he will! I thought to myself. She isn't gonna touch his hair! Fuck that!

Knockout came out quickly and while getting on his bike, he asks me what the fuck my problem was.

I wanted to tell him, but I didn't even know for sure why I was feeling or even thinking what I was. So instead of answering, we just rode off.

After finishing a few things up from the office back at the clubhouse. I heard a knock on the door.

"Enter." I called out while signing up a few forms.

It wasn't until I heard the door shut that I looked up and saw it was Knockout.

He sat down in one of the chairs across from the desk.

        "Hey." Knockout says.

"What's up?" I ask while finishing signing the last form and putting the papers away in an envelope while then leaning back in my chair.

"I wanted to let you know that I just got word that Gabriel confirmed the deal and that we'll have our money by the end of this week." Knockout said.

        "Good." I replied.

There's a brief moment of silence before Knockout does what he does best and talks.

"So, what's up with you?" He asks.

"What do you mean?" I ask, thinking I already know what he's getting at.

"I know it's none of my business but, earlier today, why were you acting like a dick to Annie?"

"I wasn't. We just needed to leave." I replied.

"It seemed like you...." Knockout stopped when my phone rang.

I look down and notice that it's Rachelle.

"What?!" I answer a little irritated.

The voice on the other side of the phone begins talking and I realize it's not Rachelle, it was Annie.
