LAST TIME ON TMNT: FALLING FOR THE BLUE MASK...

'My god. This is going to be a long day for me...' I was saying in my mind.

AND NOW BACK TO THE STORY!

When I saw that tall six foot rat standing by Donatello, I knew that he was going to say something important to me.

'My god that is one tall rat there. And I think that must be their master Donnie mentioned.' I was thinking to myself.

"Hmm... Are you the girl that was saved by my sons? From the clutches of the purple dragons?"

"Umm... Yes sir."

"You don't have say 'Yes sir' my child. You may call me Master Splinter or Sensei."

"Yes, Master Splinter. My name is Brianna. I was attacked by the Purple Dragons and I believe that your sons had saved my life."

"I can see that they brought you here in the sewer lair. And I see that you have also brought some fresh injuries with you." He said coming up to me and checking out my wounds.

"Yes. Hun and his crew gave me so much pain. But thanks to Dr. Donnie and Dr. Leo, they fixed me up." I smiled at them.

"Of course, my oldest sons love to play doctor." He chuckled and I giggled at his comment. Leo and Donnie blushed a deep red.

"So, why do you think that Hun wants to attack me? For what reason?"

"That is something that I don't know of as well. And I think it would be best if stayed here in the lair with us until tomorrow. For your own safety."

'Dang it. I knew it. I wonder if my parents are worried about me. They don't know where I am and who I'm with.' I was worried with my thoughts on the fritz. I knew that Master Splinter was going to say that. But the only thing that I'm afraid about is being attacked by Hun and the Purple Dragons again.

"Brianna. Can you see me in my family dojo room for a few minutes? I want to have a word with you." I was surprised, but I knew he wanted to say some more things about his crazy, mutant life in the sewers.

"Ok Master Splinter." I followed his lead, but I stopped because there was a flight of stairs in my way. 'Great. Stairs. What does it always have to be stairs?' I didn't want to pull off my injures, so I asked one of the turtles to help me out.

"Hey Leo, can you help me climb up these steps?"

"Of course. Come, take my hand." Leo took my hand gently and I blushed. Leo helped me climb up the stairs and slid the door open into the family dojo room. It was decorated with Japanese paintings, rugs, weapons, and a big bonsai tree in the middle of the room.

'Wow. This place is amazing. I have got to tell my parents about this place. Oh, wait. Forget that thought.'

"Well it looks like you're on your own from here."

"Yeah, I guess it is."

"Umm... I'll see you later Brianna." Leo said with his hand behind his head.

"I'll catch up with ya later after I've finish my conversation with Sensei."

"Ok. See ya." Then he made his way to walk out.

"Oh Leo, hold up."

"Huh? What is it Brianna?" I crutches over to him, leaned in forward, and gave Leonardo a kiss on his cheek.

"That's for saving my life." He instantly put his hand on his cheek and walked out of the dojo. I think I heard him chuckling on the way out.

Leo waves to me and I waved back at him. Then he slid the door shut. I took in a deep breath and made my way toward the rat master. 'Ok Brianna, you can do this. This is just like the time when you had a presentation with other people.'

Master Splinter was on the floor in his deep meditating posture. He was closing his eyes and he was as peaceful as the Buddha. I didn't want to interrupt him, but he opened his reddish-brown eyes and offered me a seat.

'My god. That's crazy how he does it. I think I might be a little bit afraid. But I think that it might be about the attack I just went through.'

"Come my child, have a seat. Just be very careful. You're still healing from that brutal attack."

"Yes. Thank you." I sat down on the floor and placed my leg on the blue cushion he laid out for me.

"So about your story Brianna. How did it all begin?"

"Well..." So I told the master of how Hun and his crew were attacking me. And how the turtles came to rescue me.

*A few minutes later...*

"And that's what happened." I said.

Splinter was concerned and he gave me a serious face which made me identify his feeling. "Hm... I would have to say that my sons have protected you from harm's way."

"So what should I do now Master Splinter?" I asked him.

"I think it would be best if you stayed here in the lair tonight. I cannot let you out at any risk. It is just too dangerous for you."

"Okay Master Splinter." And he dismissed me with his head bowed down and I started to make my way out of the dojo.

"Brianna?" Master Splinter stopped me.

"Huh? What is it Sensei?"

"Can you keep me and my sons a secret? It's too risky for our existence to be discovered by the other humans and possibly the world."

"Hai Master Splinter-san. Your abnormal family's secret is safe with me. You have my word." The rat master looked at me with his eyes with mine and stood back up.

"I believe you." Splinter smiled at me and bowed his head. Then I made my way out of the dojo, again. But then, a thought struck me to tell him something important.

"Um... Sensei?"

"What is it my child?" he asked me.

"I have a question I want to ask you. How did you and your sons get into those shapes?" I wanted to know what happened to them.

"That is a long story that I will tell you for another time. Oh, how about tomorrow? I'll tell it to you." he asked.

"Ok. I'll come down here after school's over for me tomorrow."

"Hm... That sounds like a great idea. I'll tell one of my sons to come pick you up at school."

"Okay."

"All right. So that's a day of storytelling. Just for you."

"Sounds great! I'll see you soon."

"I'll see you soon too Brianna." So we bowed our heads in dismissal and I headed out for the sliding door. Splinter gave me a smile whenever I looked back at him. He waves to me and I waved back at him, then I slid the door close. Leonardo was at the door and helped me down the stairs. And I had no idea what to do next.
