The next day comes and as does he, however, today he's dressed in a black bikers jacket and is wearing black boots rather than suede. He still looks great but obviously I don't tell him that."You again." He chuckles as he comes and sits by me on the seat inside the bus shelter.
"Me again." I laugh along as I turn to face him.
"Aunt late again or? -" he questions as he pushes his hands inside of his pockets.
"Yeah, always is but sometimes I think she does it purposely." I chuckle and Harry frowns. Little does he know that this time, she's definitely being late on purpose.
"Well thats not nice." He laughs. "Have you always lived here?" He then questions.
I shake my head and swallow sharply. "Um, no, I actually used to live in London but when my parents passed, I came up here to live with my aunt." I smile sadly.
His lips fall into a straight line and he nods slowly. "My mother passed away when I was a baby. I live with my dad and my two brothers." He explains with his eyes watching his feet swing back and forth.
Silence over take us once more. I've never met any one else thats lost a parent and I cant help but think it would be nice to talk to him about it sometime. I've never really been able to express how I feel fully because I sometimes just want someone who completely understands to be on the other end of the conversation.
However, despite feeling this, I feel like I need to say something to change the topic."Um, do you want a ride home?" I blurt out, not just shocking myself but him also as his eyes widen slightly. "I mean you don't have too but I know your bus takes quite a while to come and well, we live in England so the weather is highly unpredictable and you may get caught in a torrential downp-"
"Lilah-" Harry cuts off my rambling and I look up to him to see him smiling brightly. "A ride home would be lovely, thank you."
I grin widely before pulling out my phone and texting my Aunt to tell her to hurry up. I know for a fact she'll be here in seconds if I tell her we're taking Harry home too.
Once she replies I push my phone into my pocket and stand up. "She said she'll be here in 5 minutes." I smile and Harry nods before getting up and standing besides me.
Once he's besides me he observes my body closely. "You're like, really tall-" he chuckles and I flush as I look down at myself. "I've never liked a girl thats about my size." Once the words come out of his mouth my head turns to him and my brows furrow.
"Liked?" I laugh as I watch as his cheeks flare a light pink. "We've only just met." I add with a soft smile.
"Yeah-" he scratches his head awkwardly before speaking up once more. "You're pretty though." He then adds with a cheeky, dimpled grin.
I flush once again from his compliment and the smile I send him is all I can muster for a thank you. I look away from him just to see my aunts car coming down the hill. She toots like usual once shes parked in front of us and Harry gets into the back seat where as I get into the front.
Kate turns down her music before turning around in her seat to get a good look at Harry. "Hey, I'm Kate and apparently I run a taxi service." She chuckles and I give her the biggest glare.
"Hello." Harry laughs deeply as he puts on his belt. "I'm Harry."
"I know, I know, now where am I taking ya?" She asks him in her 'I'm so cool' voice that always makes me cringe uncontrollably.
"Smiths Avenue, its next to that shitty carpet shop." He informs my aunt with a gruffly chuckle.
My aunt nods with a small smirk on her lips before she starts driving towards his home.
