Chapter Two:
I ended up getting arrested after what I did yesterday. I just sent five guys to the hospital and I certainly regretted saving that ungrateful wimp. He just ran off after I told him to scram. Well, probably my fault also but I was hoping he would stay to watch the show.
Those guys being alive is definitely a miracle.
“What the hell Keren?!” I heard my Mom shouting outside even if I’m in one of the cells. I smirked, finally getting the freedom. She turned up a few minutes with one of the policemen at her tail.
“Get my daughter out of here at once!” She commanded at the police officer and I was surprised that he immediately obeyed what she said. My mouth even hanged open when he handled me with care, as if I’m a fragile item that could break in any second now. I swear, he was the one who yanked and forced to get me into this cell. And it was rough. I was rough. I wouldn’t enter a dirty cell without it being covered with a sanitizer.
I sent him daggers before turning back to my Mom, “What did you do Keren?!” she screamed and her high pitched tone definitely ringed my ears. She’s pissed alright. The police officer was beside her now and was nodding at every word she says. I narrowed my eyes at him and he just rolled his eyes. Did he just do that?!
“I don’t know what I did. I just saved a pitiful kitten being picked on by scary dogs on the road. The dogs are probably dead by now, who knows? And the kitten? Let’s just say he’s in his cathouse wearing slimy underwear and eating pizza right now. While me on the other hand is stuck in this hellhole after what I did. Now tell me Mom, aren’t the world so unfair?” I said with sarcasm. Mom was silent about that. She probably got my message by now that I got arrested after saving some wimp on the road. She just shrugged and pulled me out of the police station.
The police officer was still walking beside her, “I swear they were guys, not dogs.” I heard him muttered and I chuckled at his idiocy. Like, seriously? Couldn’t he tell that I was just using names?
Mom leaned on the counter and one of the policemen told us I could go. He told us that someone came here and presented himself as a witness. He said I was the victim and my lip thinned upon hearing that. Me?! The victim?! Come on! He could’ve made a much better title whoever he is. He could’ve said that I was the heroine saving the day.
Erich was in the car and is avoiding to look at me. She says she’s late to her volleyball practice. So she just came here because she was forced to and yeah, I hate it when she makes me feel like nothing.
Mom says I’m still grounded. Who cares anyway? I always get my way whether she likes it or better like it and that’s more like it. I grinned at my poetry and got suspicious glances from my annoying sister. Ugh.
Mom told me to go to school in the afternoon even if I have to lash out and insist I don’t want to go. Me getting arrested today would definitely bring up some rumors. It’s not that I’m scared of those motherfuckers. I just get irritated with those fearful glances I get from them. It’s kind of annoying and it’s getting on my nerves.
But it seems like I have no choice since Mom is determined to send me to Antartica if I go my way anytime. It’s not like I don’t like it there though. I could use the penguins there as my punching bag and the polar bears as my weights.
So as I was walking on the way to my school. Yep, you heard right. I am walking. It seems that my little commotion earlier didn’t made her the least bit happy and decided to punish me by taking my bike to be impounded. I was screaming hell when she did that and it ended pretty nasty. I just ducked my own death for heaven’s sake! The psycho just tried to aim and threw the knife at me! What the hell?
