Chapter Ten:

Unknown Person

I paced back and forth restlessly while trying to think about those fools and the one and only Keren Wilson. I’ve been told that a guy named Eric Richers was there and is in the way of my plans. I kicked the dust bin in one of the corners of the room and ran my hands through my hair forcefully. What’s taking them so long?

I was so distracted that I didn’t notice the opening of the door until someone spoke. The heavy footsteps entered the room and respectfully headed to the side.

“Good Afternoon Sir.” I turned around and it was one of my hired men, the one who is in charge of them. I raised my eyebrows at his drastic appearance and I puffed smoke while gazing at him curiously. He looks like he has been in a hell of a fight.

I sat down, a wave of relief washed over me.

“Where are the others?” I asked him casually but was annoyed when he didn’t answer. Instead he gave me a look that I wouldn’t want the answer to that. Whatever.

I cleared my throat before speaking again. “Forget it. How was the encounter with Keren Wilson? Where is she?”

The worried look on his face was replaced with excitement. He smiled widely that it almost gave me the creeps.

“Although she was a fiery girl like she was sent from hell, we managed to send her to the hospital,” He answered joyfully.

Upon hearing that, I stood up so fast that the chair stumbled behind me. I clenched my fists then I punched the table, giving him a scare.

Blood rushed through my body and the next thing I did was punch this guy in the face. He fell to the ground and blood oozed from his nose. He looked at me like I was crazy that I almost attempted to kick him but to no avail, he dodged it.

“What did you say? Keren Wilson is in the hospital? What the hell did you do?” I bellowed so loud that my voice echoed throughout the room. It was a good thing that the walls were soundproof or else, anyone could’ve heard our little confrontation.

“Just like what you said! We-“ before he could go on any further, I picked him by his collar and gave him another blow to the face.

“Did I say you hurt her? I only commanded you to give the Wilson family a warning by scaring off their daughter, not attempting to kill her and send her to the hospital! Stupid fools!” I yelled in his face and he gave me a look of disbelief.

“You said we needed money so-“

“Get out!” I screamed before kicking his ass. He quickly scurried outside and vanished from my sight.

Now my plan is partially ruined, thanks to those stupid fools. I ran my hand through my hair again, trying to think of another option. What am I going to do now? I won’t let John Wilson get away with everything. He took everything away from me, even the love of my life.

I stared at her picture on the side of my table. She was such a lovely and a talented girl and she was all mine if it wasn’t for her father who took her away from me.

I picked up her picture and kissed it. It was a picture of her when she was painting on a canvass. I remember her red hair and her perfect face and I was on the way in pursuing her.

It could’ve been a perfect ending if it wasn’t for John fucking Wilson.

He’s the reason she’s gone from my side and I swear, I’m going to have my revenge.

I’m going to take you again, Avery. No matter what it takes

Keren Wilson
