Jess' p.o.v.

BOOM

huh? What was that,who's there?

I look over at my window and see a rock hit it. Making the noise happen again. I get out of my bed and put a big sweater over my tangtop and shorts. I go over to the window and open it just in time to get hit in the tummy with another rock. I watch it bounce off of me and fly back outside.

Ow!

I laugh a little as I recognise that as the voice of Alena. I look down and try to look for her. After like two minutes she catches onto what I'm trying to. Do and summons a little tiny flame in her hand. I see it and let my eyes adjust to the darkness.

Alena? What are you doing here This late at night?

Well,how come I can't just come to see My favorite person in the world?

She cracks a smile and I roll my eyes at her.

I'm serious Alena. I don't know what time it is but it's freaking dark out still. What's wrong?

Alex is spending the night at my house right now and he told my brother to kick me out. So now I'm here. Can I crash here tonight?

I see her eyes turn different colors as she is lifted up to my window. She hops into my room and her eyes go back to normal. I look at her in shock and she just laughs at me.

How did you just?

Jess, I control fire And nature,did you not know that?

No! Is that why your eyes change colors?!?

Yep,they go multi colored when I am going to do something with nature. And they are supposed to turn bright orange when I use fire.

Ohhhhhhhh. Ok that makes so much sense but I have a question

If ur brother kicked you out then why would you come to my house? I thought you'd go to kacy's.

Well I wanted to make sure you were ok. I wanted to make sure he wasn't planning on finding you or anything like that.

Awww Alena that's so sweet of you! But what will your parents do when they see that your not at home???

Um, I don't have parents. Me and Nuno were both born on the same day. Were twins to clarify that up. Our parents died a couple years ago. I've been taking care of us for a while now. Which is why I get mad at him for hanging out with Alex. Alex controls Nuno and I hate that he does that. Kacy says she thinks that's why I always want to hurt Alex. I agree with her

Well I'm pretty tired. You can borrow some clothes if you want to. There's a hammock in the corner if you want to use it. Good night.

~Alenas p.o.v.~

Jess says good night and goes back under her covers. I turn around to her closet. She said I could chose anything. She doesn't have too many options. I look through her closet and find a purple tangtop with some black shorts. I change in the corner then walk over To the hammock and lay down in it.

I look up at the ceiling and there are little glow in the dark stars on it, I smile to myself in the darkness. It reminds me of when my parents were still alive. Me and Nuno used to have constellations on our ceiling . Our mom and dad said that the reason that they were there because my mother was a leo and my father was a Scorpio. And to the universe. They were the least compatable. But they attracted to each other like ying and yang. So they told us that no matter what anybody thinks We can do anything we believe we can and that no matter what the universe says. We can live anybody we want to, Girl or boy, both or one, a bunch or even none at all. No matter what. They would always love us, And we would never be alone because, we would always have each other. It seems that Nuno forgot that as soon as the... accident....happened. After we got the call. He got this little flame of anger in him. This burning flame, he went into our room and flooded it. I went to stop him but he closed his fist and froze it. The whole room is now a frozen sea of old memories. After that he met Alex and at first I thought he was good for him. He calmed him down. But now he's controlling him and using his powers against other people. That's why I want to hurt Alex so much. I want him to stay away from my brother. I just want him to stay away from my tw-

I feel someone shaking me. Pulling me from My thoughts. I open my eyes, I didn't even realize they were closed. I see Jess looking at me with a look of shock on her face.

Jess? What's the matter?

What? What do u mean what's the matter? You were just crying. I woke up and you were like silently balling. I started to shake you. Your eyes were like bright orange when you opened them.

I was sleeping? I don't even remember falling aslee- wait, did you say my eyes were orange?

Yeah? So What?

I feel myself and my skin is burning. My cheeks are so hot that my tears dried up off my skin. I look down at the hammock and see it's smoking a lil bit. And it has a mark from where I was laying. How did Jess touch me without burning herself?

Jess lemme see your hands!

Huh? Why do you need to see my ha-

I grab her hands and examine them. They look fine, there is no marks on them. How did she shake me for that long without at least a lil mark or her hands being hot.

What's wrong? Is there something wrong with my hands?

No and that's the thing, Jess my skin is so hot that even your hammock would have caught fire if you didn't wake me up. What I'm trying to figure out is why your hands don't have a single mark on them even thought you were shaking me.

Um, I don't know, maybe it was just goodluck. I didn't hold your arms for that long so maybe I let go just In time.

Maybe idk, maybe I'm just over thinking this. What time is it anyways?
