Skylar's POV.:

2 years later

"We did it!" I cheered and danced around in the parking lot, not caring that people were staring.
"Yes babe, we did" Shawn said as he leaned against his car.
Today was the day we finally graduated from university. Shawn and I were still together and I'm really proud of him. At the beginning I thought that he was an asshole who would never change but he proved me wrong. Like every other couple we had our ups and downs but he always stood to his mistakes and I stood to mine.

I was hoping that we would continue to stay together even if we would be going separate ways from now on. We never really discussed what we would do after we were done with uni. I mean sure we mentioned it here and there but I think both of us were to scared to actually talk about it.
"Well, what now?" I asked with an unsure feeling in my stomach. Sooner or later one of us had to ask, right?
"Eh uh-m, babe?" He's trailing off. Now that's a way to avoid a conversation.
I hummed in response.
"I think my phone is in your bag could you give it to me please?" I furrowed my eyebrows. Why is his phone is my bag?
"Shawn, why's your phone in my-"
"Shush. Now look" I rolled my eyes and he smirked. He was up to something for sure. I opened the zip of my backpack and searched for his phone when suddenly something else caught my eye. A black little box. If this is what I think that it is I'll shit bricks.

No. No. No. No. No. No.

This isn't happening, right? He can't propose to me. It's too early. I mean, I think that it is. With shaky hands I take out the box and Shawn had a smile plastered on his face.
"Shawn if you're proposing I'll-"
"Shut up" his laugh boomed through the parking lot.
"Calm down Sky, it's not a ring. Just open it. You'll see"
I did as he told me and saw a silver key on a necklace. I wasn't sure if it was a real key or not.
"What is this?" I asked in a low voice.
"The key to my house. Do you want to move in with me?"
I gasped as those words left his mouth. I was unbelievably happy in this exact moment and I wouldn't want to trade it for the world.
"Yes"
