Shawn's POV.:

Her cheeks have accepted a dark shade of red. I had no Idea that I have this much power and affect on her. I can't wait until tomorrow. To be honest I want to spend her birthday alone. Just us two, but then again I bet she is missing her best friend. She never talks about her but I saw that she always comments on Sky's pictures. Sky posted a lot of pictures with her, I think her name was Kelsey.
"What are you doing" she snapped at me. She looked at me and waited for an answer, when I didn't respond she rolled her eyes and gave up. Her body loose under my touch.
She looked everywhere but at me. I let go of her wrists and tilted up her chin. I moved closer, our faces only mere inches apart from each other. I could feel her breath on my lips. I slowly leaned in, brushing my lips against hers. She whimpered making me smile to myself.
When I leaned in I felt weird. A connection? Perhaps. Love? No idea. She makes me feel so many emotions at once and I can't control them. I don't think, no, I know that no one made me feel like this before.
She smiled into the kiss making me even more excited. Her hands make their way to my neck. One of her hands tug on my hair making me groan.
Out of nowhere my phone rang. Way to ruin this moment. I pecked her lips one more time before picking up the phone.
"Hello?" I said into the speaker.
"Shawn? It's me Kelsey, you told me to call you"
I let out an 'oh' and excused myself. I walked out of our room and closed the door. Students were rushing on the halls, some all dressed up and some are coming back home with a bag full of food.
"Hello Kelsey, yea It's Shawn. I have to talk to you about Skylar"
"Yea what about her? Is she alright?"
I nodded but then realized that she can't see me.
"She's alright don't worry. So as you know her birthday is tomorrow and I thought I'd surprise her. I sent you a two way flight ticket. To Canada and back. You should get the tickets by post tomorrow morning and you are going to land approximately at 5 PM. I am going to pick you up from the Airport"
"Oh wow that's really nice of you. I'll pay you the money back once I get there." I laughed. I don't want her money, I did it for Sky so yea.
"No worries about the money"
"One more question" she said.
"Yes?"
"Who exactly are you to Skylar?"
"Hopefully her soon to be boyfriend." We laughed and said our goodbyes. As I got back into the dorm Sky was lying on the sofa and staring at the ceiling. Her beautiful and good-smelling brown hair are all over the armrest. I told her that I was gonna change and she nodded. When I got into the bedroom I closed the door and dressed into some sweats and a plain black T-shirt. I saw the book I bought for her earlier today peeking out from behind the pile of jeans. She is gonna be so happy oh my god. I took the book out and hid it under the bed. When I walked out of the bedroom Skylar was stretching and yawning.
"Tired?" I asked her, leaning against the door frame.
"Yes. I'm gonna go to sleep"
She walked into the bedroom and laid down on the bed, her arms and legs sprawled out. I'm going to let her sleep, after a lil bit of fun.
