Chapter 9

Christofer's P.O.V

"Oops" I said smirking at Jennye.

"You did not" she shrieked.

"Oh I did" I said and put more pancake mix on her nose and threw flour in her face.

"Christofer your going to get it wait till I'm done cooking your dead" she told me.

"Threats baby, that's just a threat" I said and walked into the living room turning in the t.v.

I heard a door open and a tired looking Airika come out.

"Ding Dong"

"I'll get it" she yelled not realizing I was on the couch.

I watched her walk to the door then open it and tense up as if she saw a ghost.

Who's at the door?

Airika's P.O.V.

"Why are you here" I spat.

"Um because I missed you" he told me.

"Ha yeah right Dominic if that was true you would have seen me a lot sooner" I said angrily toward my own brother.

"Look I know I should have been there for you and everyone else actually after mom's passing but-" I cut him off.

"But what? 'Your too busy' Doing what huh selling drugs" I said losing my patients.

"No if you let me explain i'll tell you the reason" he said.

"Um no I'm good have a nice day" I said with a big smile and was just about to shut the door, but he put his damn foot there.

"Move your foot now!" I yelled.

"Woah woah okay I've seen too much bickering who are you yelling at?" Christofer asked.

"You can handle this" I said gesturing toward Dominic at the door.

I walked into the kitchen and let out a big sigh.

"Hey what's wrong" Jennye asked me while flipping a pancake.

"Nothing" I said not wanting to be bothered.

"Are you sure it's nothing, and who was at the door?" she finished cooking I guess because she was setting the table.

I got up started helping her place down plates forks and juice.

"No one important was at the door" I said and felt a pang in my chest when I said that.

"Oh mailman then?" she said teasingly and chuckled.

"Yeah" I said with a sly smile.

Jennye always starts my day off all sunny and shit.

We both sat down and Jennye started grabbing food and put it on her plate.

I just sat there and started having a mental fight with myself about something then there was a voice.

"Good morning my two favorite ladies I have an amazing surprise" Christofer said and stepped aside revealing his horrible surprise.

"Hey" Dominic said.

"Sweetie I haven't seen you in forever how have you been?" Jennye asked and hugged him. He hugged her back and I instantly got jealous.

"Why are you here? Who would let you in?" I spat once again.

"Stop being so stubborn and let him give you his reasons" Christofer said and sat down at the table grabbing some food.
