Jennye's P.O.V.
"So you and Airika are really gonna stay in the bus, and watch romantic chick flicks the night of the VMA's?" I asked Julian.
"I mean why not Jennye. If she doesn't want to go you shouldn't force her to" I nodded my head.
"I'm not forcing anything I just think it's a new experience that she might like you know" I explained, and he laughed.
"A new experience huh? The girl is only 14 going on 15, and already has experienced more then others at her age. Meanwhile her idea of a new experience is completely different obviously" he said chuckling.
"Yeah true, but she'll come around I know it" I stated, and right in that instant I heard faint whines.
"Who's making those noises?" Julian asked, and I shook my head.
"I'm not sure, but I'll go check" I stated, and went toward the back of the bus.
I passed Christofer on the way over there, and he was dead on one of the bunk beds. The man couldn't even make it to the room.
Inwardly I kept my pace, as the whines turned into wailing where they were coming from Airika's room.
That's when I went into panic mode. I jiggled the door, but it was locked. Seriously.
"Airika open this door immediately!" I heard a bit of shuffling, then Airika stood there with damp puffy eyes.
"Airika why were yo-"
"Jennye you're still here?" she asked while squeezing the life out of me.
"Please don't leave me. I honestly need you, I don't know what I do without you" she weeped into my chest.
"What are you talking about?" I ran my fingers through her hair while giving her the same embrace she was giving me.
"Just don't leave me. That's the worst thing you could do to me" she whispered, and I nodded.
Still not knowing why she was telling me all these things I just agreed.
"You know I'd never leave you. How could I, I mean I'm suck with you and you're stuck with me" she nodded, and got out of my embrace.
"Thank you" she mumbled, as I wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Try to get some rest, and then in the morning you can tell me what his was all about yeah" she nodded, and then went back to her room.
I shuffled back over to Julian who was currently driving is to the next arena she'd be playing in.
"How's the kid?" he asked, and I let out a long sigh.
"She opened up her door, and was practically crying her eyes out. I didn't want to push the subject by bombarding her with questions, so I said when she feels comfortable enough she can tell me on her own time" I explained.
"There was one thing that she told me that confused me" Julian snapped his head in my direction quickly while focusing on the road.
"What might that be?' he whizzed.
"She told me not to leave her"
Airika's P.O.V.
"Hey I apologize for being late it's just been super crazy lately" I rushed the words out of my mouth, as I took a seat in from of Justin, which if I may add had his usual smirk on his face.
"It's okay it's not like I've been waiting for like 15 or 20 minutes for you" he stated, and I grinned.
"You were the one that wanted to have lunch not me yeah?" I replied, and the waiter came over to give us menus. We ordered, and he left.
"So about the VMA's what are you planning on wearing?" Justin asked me staring straight into my damn soul.
"I'd rather not go" he shook his head.
"Give me a good enough reason to not go" I smiled at him ready to charge, but instead stayed cool calm and collected.
"First off 'Jennye' I'd rather not put
myself in a uncomfortable position. Secondly it's not my type off thing, and lastly I just would rather not go" I stated.
"You'll never know how it actually is, until you attend" he said, and I smirked.
"Never say never Biebs" in that same instant the waiter gave us out food and drinks. While I held a smug smile
Justin glared at me with a playful grin.
"I like seeing your smile" he said, and I abruptly pulled my lips into a straight line.
Justin furrowed his eyebrows then spoke,"Why did you just wipe it off of your face?".
I shook my head at him signaling that it was nothing. Then I proceeded to look at the meal in front of me.
Pizza. The world's greatest creation in my opinion.
Justin ordered the same thing, but seemed to be deep in thought about something else.
Not paying attention to him anymore my phone buzzed causing him to jump instantly in his seat.
"My apologies, um I need to take this" I said getting out of my chair, and heading to the restroom.
"Hello" I politely replied through the phone.
"Well hello miss Serna. This is Kendra I just called to tell you that Jennye's artwork is going to be displayed in a famous art museum in New York" Kendra told me through the phone.
"That's amazing, but why are you telling me this? I mean it's not like I don't care, because I do care, just why me and not her?" I asked.
"She wasn't picking up her phone, so I thought it would be more appropriate to call you, and have you pass the information along for me" I instantly shook my head, then felt dumb, because it's evident she couldn't see my actions.
"Yes I will gladly do that, and I have y'all's tickets I will mail them to y'all" she let out a cackle.
"Sweetheart thank you so much I really do appreciate it" she said.
"No problem at all I can't wait to see y'all there, and is there anything else you need?" I asked her.
"No Hun just wanted you to pass the message along. Thank you, and have a great day" she chirped.
"Same too you miss Kendra, bye" I hung up, and put my phone in my pocket leaving the bathroom. I sat back down in my seat, and stared at Justin who was busy on his phone.
"So how's the weather?" I asked making him grin.
*5 Months Later*
Mystery's P.O.V.
"Ma I'm here" I yelled the throughout the house.
"Hi baby, your sister is in the living room waiting for you. Please take care of her" she said kissing my cheek.
"There's nothing to worry about I got this. I'm capable of taking care of my little sister" I said chuckling.
She rose an eyebrow at me,"You say that now but that's not accurate according to the past" she was right.
"You can't blame me for wanting to take her somewhere fun okay" she sternly stared at me.
"Taking a 5 year old to skating park isn't fun for them. Especially if for one they can't skate, and two they are just sitting there minding their own business till they get a skateboard to the face" my mother retorted remembering the one mistake I've made with my little sister. Putting my arms up in surrender I agreed with her.
"Point being I've messed up once. Just once. You're gonna have to trust me, because we both know I'm the only one who can take care of her" I replied with a smirk knowing I was right.
"Just take care of her please. Make sure she has fun. I have to go I'm gonna be late for my meetings bye I love you, and tell your sister I said I love her too" my mom said hugging me then leaving.
I walked into the living room, and instantly something clung onto me like a leech.
"Bunny!" The voice screeched still clinging to me.
I chuckled, unattached her from my leg bringing her up to my waist making her
wrap her legs and arms around me.
"Hey princess are you ready to go?"
"Yes, I just need to go grab my purse" she told me jumping out of my arms, and running up the stairs to her room.
Only 7 and has a purse wow. This kid is gonna grow up so fast it honestly terrifies me.
I try to visit Sophie, as much as I can, because mom is the world's biggest workaholic. It pisses me off sometimes, because she needs to be here for her daughter. I know she needs to have income coming in, but I just worry about my little sister.
On the way over here my mother called me back, and told me the reason why she needed me to watch Sophie. The reason just so happened to be perfect, because if anything it's gonna help me out with my job. Next I called up my boss, and told him about taking off some time from work, first he declined, but once I told him why he immediately agreed to it. Under the one condition that I get more information for him which is gonna be hard, but not impossible. I said yes then re-begun my journey over to the old house I called home.
Hearing foot patters coming down the stairs, there stood my little sister. She was wearing some blue jeans that seemed to be really skinny on her. A nice white long sleeve t-shirt that had some white jewels on it. She topped off the outfit with a red jacket, and a pair of red flats.
She looked beautiful like usual.
"Come on bunny we have to go before there are no more seats left" she said pulling on my hand.
"Calm down princess we have front row tickets according to mom" I explained, and led her outside of the house.
Sophie already ran into my car, and buckled herself up before I could even lock the door to the house. I retreated from the house, and walked to the car entering it, and buckling up.
"Ready to go?" I beamed, and she shook her head madly.
I started driving to the arena realizing that the closer I got to it the urge to barf worsened. I was to nervous do anything.
After a long 30 minute drive with Sophie yelling the lyrics to all the songs on the radio we finally made it.
"LET'S GO! BUNNY HURRY!" She screeched already getting out of the car, and trying to pull me out with her.
I chuckled and got out with her. Leading the way there were loads of teenagers standing in a humongous line.
"Bunny can you help me?" Sophie asked, as she couldn't zip up her zipper. I nodded, and zipped it up then patted her sweater down, until I felt something in her pocket.
"Soph what are these!" I exclaimed pulling out these pieces of hard paper with strings attached to them.
"Uh I don't know mommy put them in my sweater before she left" I examined the objects in my hand and read it out loud.
"Meet n' Greet tickets" I said, and my eyes widened.
"Bunny what does that mean?" She asked.
"You'll soon find out" I told her with a smirk.
