I head to my room and threw my self on my bed. I wish I could just have a normal life. I'm sick of this disease. I'm sick of running to the washroom all the time. This "secret" won't last long. Phil will have to find out soon.
I check my phone and remember I don't have Phil's number yet. Probably I should ask him.
I hear a knock on the door. "Hey Dan, can we talk?" Chris opened the door and came into my room. "Why were you and Phil, uh.. sleeping... Together?" Out of nowhere I loudly blurt out, "WE JUST FELL ASLEEP WATCHING TELEVISION OK!"
"Is everything alright here?" Phil pops in. "Everything is fine," Chris answers. He stands up and gestures Phil to leave the room. "I'm not done talking with you." Chris says also leaving.
What happened. Why did I just scream at Chris. My feelings are becoming more stronger. I walk out of my room and go to Phil's.
"Hey, do you mind if we can trade numbers," I say standing at his door, "Just in case you need something if either of us are gone, or if an alien abducts you" Phil chuckles a laugh and pulls out his phone. Once we trade numbers I try to start a small conversation. I'm not good with communication.
After a few jokes I start coughing again. Why is this happening all of a sudden. It's been only about 45mim. Leaving Phil I run to the washroom. Forgetting to lock the door before coughing out a few petals, I hear a knock on the door, and I see Phil coming in.
"Mate, are you ok?!" I freeze, staring at the petals in the sink. Phil walks over and tries to calm me. He still doesn't know. "Oh look, more.. petals?", Phil questions. How am I supposed to explain to him.
Chris walking by, starts making his way to us. "Excuse me Phil, but uh Dan's sickness, can uh also spread too us humans, so you should leave him, uh alone" In relief Phil apologizes and heads out. I think Chris wants another word with me. I can never keep secrets from him that long. The secrets that are my feelings.
