Looking confused, I face Zander and blankly stare at him. Dangerous animals? Why didn't I sense them? Seeing Zander sigh and look toward the road once again, I could accurately assume he had given up on getting answers from me.

" Our plan is to head to the inn first to unload our items, then to train at the Colosseum's training rooms for fights against their minor monsters."

Zander had completely ditched the topic of the animals and explained everything major going on in this city. Such as the fact that they were undergoing a renovation to the city's guard mechanisms. While this meant a stronger shield for the city, it also created a time period where until the renovations were done it would be very easy to break the city's defenses. That would seem terrible in most cases, but this city was filled with professionals at monster hunting and catching. This created a sense of security within the area - or at least that was the what Zander had told me.

All the boys were given the job to move and unload by a lady named Key. She was actually the oldest here, which was why she was given the leader position. Or at least that was what she said, but from the looks of it, the fact that she was the strongest out of their group seemed to play a part.

Key and I sat in the drivers seat as we watched the boys run back and forth, transferring the baggage. My feeling watching them were neutral though. They were carrying their own things (and Key's), so it's not like I was increasing their workload.

Having the time to spare, I study Key's looks. She was quite pretty, but not the kind that looked delicate and fragile. She had strong features and a slim toned body with tanned skin and strawberry blond hair that I had only ever seen in a ponytail.

I didn't quite realize we were blankly staring at each other until Ashton popped in between us and asked, "Why are you two glaring at each other?" Feeling like I was doing something wrong now, I turn my gaze down and awkwardly wait for us to set off to the training grounds.

Luckily, the boys all were able to get into the caravan before I had to talk to Key or Ashton about why I was staring at her for such a long time. Following the group, I enter the caravan and sit on one of the chairs.

I did realize that the reason for the awkward silence was me, but I still didn't say anything. Grey didn't seem to like me very much, and Zander wasn't talking, and there were two guys on both sides of me that I didn't know. The entire ride would seem to be consisting of me looking down at my swinging legs. That is until the caravan came to a sharp halt that almost made me fall out of the seat. Before anyone could even whisper out a question, we were ushered out by a man in a official uniform.

"There has been an accident! Follow our directions to get to safety and don't panic!"

While all the men in the black uniforms were gathering the low-leveled or completely defenseless pedestrians. Another officer was giving out orders to some other men in the same clothing. While they were willing to help the weak to safety, if you wanted to join in and help them fight, they would not stop you. That is, unless you are a hindrance.  Normally there would be no exceptions, but this was the time that many professionals came to participate in the tournament. This meant that there might be talented young individuals that the royal court might want to take notice of, or give invitations to. Don't think I know all this because I am remarkably smart though, it was some simple assuming paired with the announcement the man was making. And even though I knew we were here for the tournament, I wasn't positive if Key and her group were going to join the guards.
