40 Weeks pregnant

"He's awake now." Taehyung called the nurse the moment Jungkook opened his eyes.

"You enjoying that epidural?" Hyuna teased as she checked his vitals and fluid levels.

"Yes!" He laughed and wiped the sleep from his eyes.

"Alright, let's see how dilated you are." She unpackaged a pair of gloves and slipped them on. Jungkook adjusted his position a little. After Kyungsan, Jungkook was no longer phased by stranger's fingers and tools to check the baby being shoved into his hole. He did feel discomfort, but nothing can compare to the morning Kyungsan was born.

"You're already fully dilated! Let me call in the crew and then we can see about getting this baby out!" Jungkook smiled brightly. Once the numerous doctors were in the room, Jaehwa instructed Jungkook on when to push. He did so three times per contraction. "Good, good! Keep pushing just like that and she'll be out real soon!"

"Tae, water." Jungkook panted. Taehyung quickly brought the cup to him and placed the straw on his lips. He took a small sip and then relaxed for a moment.

"Alright...give me a really good push, Jungkook, you're almost done! Push, push, push!" She encouraged. He was tired but he willed himself to push even harder then he felt her head come out, easing a bit of his discomfort. "Beautiful! Deep breath and push!" One last push and Jaehwa was able to pull the baby out. "Here she is!" She laid the baby on his chest. Allowing the other doctors to wipe her down. She quickly pouted and began crying.

"Awww." Taehyung smiled. Jungkook looked at her adoringly with a tired grin. He gently touched her hair.

"Hi, baby girl." His eyes were teary. A moment later they took her to get her measurements and weight, and also get the rest of the fluid out of her lungs.

"Congratulations on your healthy baby girl!" The nurse came over with the newborn to do skin-to-skin bonding. They laid the diapered baby on Jungkook's bare chest. She was cleaned, so they were able to really look at her features.

"My little Areum. Hello, baby girl. It's nice to meet you." Jungkook cooed as he brushed her soft, pink cheek. He tried to ignore that his hands were still shaking from the adrenaline and exhaustion. "She looks like you and your mom, Tae. She's got your eyes and your lips, but she's got your mom's nose." He laughed and gently touched her nose which was Taehyung's mother's for sure. "I just grow daddy's babies, huh? You and your big brother maybe got one or two of my features." He let out a smile giggle. "God, she's so beautiful." Tears began running down his cheeks from happiness.

"I love her and I love you." Taehyung leaned down and stole a kiss from Jungkook's lips.

"May I come in?" Hyuna asked softly peeking around the curtain. The boys nodded and she made her way over to the bed. "Congratulations, she's a beautiful baby." The nurse bowed.

"Thank you. Tae, would you like to hold her?" Jungkook said and adjusted his hold on the baby so his husband could hold her. Taehyung gently took her into his arms and she let out a little coo.

"Does she have a name already?" The nurse pulled up a file on the computer.

"Kim Areum."

It's a short chapter but there will be more soon. I just wanted to update that part since I sort of left it hanging.
