Ready to Try Again

Kyungsan - Age 6
Areum - Age 3

It took a long time for the Taekook couple to become accepting of their loss, to accept what will never be. But they've stayed busy since with Areum walking and talking and Kyungsan eventually starting school. Areum was always talkative as a baby, but now she's three and she's also really smart, carrying on complete conversations. She's unique like Tae, she's excitable and artistic and always drawing pictures for her parents and her older brother. Kyungsan keeps her best drawings and tapes them along the wall of their play room in the basement. Kyungsan, well he's into sports, he bowls every other week with his mom if they have time and he likes to play soccer with Jihyun whenever he can, even though the younger gets tired out and struggles to keep up with Kyungsan's energy.

The band has slowed and now only releases an album every eighteen months, so Tae has been doing more acting. Jungkook stays home with Areum and produces his own songs in both Korean and English. Areum likes to sing with him too, and Jungkook thinks she has the voice of an angel.

But lately Jungkook has been feeling that baby fever again and he honestly thinks he's ready to try again.

No, he knows he's ready to try again.

"Are you sure you're ready, baby, I get you pregnant the first try when I don't put on a condom." Taehyung says as he softly kisses over Jungkook's face in the serious moment despite them being hard, naked, and starting to sweat, it was something that needed to be asked.

"Tae, I've told you, I'm ready. I'm ready to try for another baby. Now fuck me...please." He whines pushing his hips down until the tip of Taehyung's dick is pressed against his rim. Taehyung lets out a deep groan and pushes in.

The next day

"Why do you look so happy today?" Jimin smiles as he hands Jungkook a cup of warm peppermint tea as they watch Jihyun and Kyungsan kick a soccer ball back and forth, chasing it around the yard.

"I'm just...happy." He grins back and takes a sip of the warm tea.

"You're cheerier than usual, what happened?" He asks curiously, studying the younger closely. "Did you get dick? Dick makes me happy too."

"Not just that." He laughs and watches Areum mourn over a dandelion Minyoung stepped on while they were playing on their playground set in the corner of the conjoined backyards. "We started trying for a baby last night, so...I'm nervous...but I'm happy."

"Ahh, I'm happy for you! I wish for the very best!" Jimin coos over Jungkook and the fact Minyoung is trying to pick a new flower for Areum.

"No, now it's gonna die too!" Areum starts crying, tears filling her eyes. Minyoung doesn't say anything, she just huffs and drops the flower and goes back to the deck just as Yoongi walks outside.

"Minnie, what's wrong?" Yoongi asks as the four-year-old stomps towards him and hugs his legs, a pout on her face.

"I'll go talk to Areumie." Jungkook excuses himself and goes to Areum who's crying as she digs a hole in the dirt with her bare fingers. "Baby girl, what's wrong?" He asks, squatting down next to her.

"Minmin unnie stepped on the flower and killed it then killed this one." She sobs as she tries to replant the uprooted dandelion.

"Areumie, Minnie didn't mean to. Also we don't want these flowers they're smelly and they kill other flowers." He makes her giggle by pinching her side before she gasps and quickly begins pulling them out.
