It was something Jungkook never thought would happen. He's always taken his birth control like clock work, on time and never missing a dose. But he tried a new type of birth control because he was sick of taking pills. So he got an IUD.

Yet here he is with a positive pregnancy test sitting abandoned on the counter as he hurls his guts out into the toilet.

Birth control still very well in place.

Once he can calm himself he flushes the toilet and brushes his teeth vigorously. With tears in his eyes he returns to the bedroom, its three in the morning so Tae is sound asleep, snoring softly. He can't stop the tears that flood his eyes. He slowly crawls into bed and lays down on top of Taehyung, clinging to his sleeping form. He can't stop the sob that works its work up his throat. Tears falling onto Tae's bare chest. The older wakes up immediately, aware of a body clinging to him and crying.

"Baby, what's wrong?" He asks, voice deep and gruff.

"Tae...I'm pregnant..." He sobs. "I still have the IUD in." He explains through hiccups and sobs. Taehyung's brain instantly clicks on.

"When the doctor's office opens we'll call Yoora and tell her-"

"Tae, I'm not ready to have another baby. Areum just turned ten months old and IUD pregnancies are dangerous and risky!" He sobs into his husband's neck. Taehyung feels helpless because they both knew the statistics when Jungkook got the IUD inserted, but Jungkook didn't want to keep taking the pills and then stopping them and starting them again and doing so was also effecting his hormones.

"I know, Kookie, we just need to take you to the doctor and then go from there."

"The fetus is about eight weeks. We are going to try removing the IUD. But even then, I'm sorry to say, but the risk of miscarrying is still higher for you because of getting pregnant with a foreign object in your cervix the first place." Yoora explains.

Jungkook just exhales, letting his head fall back against the pillow on the examination table, unsure if his eyes are ready to fill with tears yet again or not.

Yoora was able to schedule an appointment to remove the IUD later that afternoon, which there was a risk of Jungkook miscarrying during the process but it went well, still Jungkook had to stay the night in the hospital for monitoring. Which was horrible because of the situation at hand and because he was still breastfeeding Areum before her afternoon nap and before she goes to bed. But Taehyung understood this and brought the kids to the hospital.

The next day he was sent home.

His morning sickness kicked in hard, and it wasn't just in the mornings he would throw up throughout the day and even at night. He felt miserable and tired. It was hard feeling so awful and taking care of a toddler, a baby, and his husband. His first two pregnancies went quite smoothly and that worries him, because somewhere deep inside he feels like something is wrong. Even though the IUD had been removed successfully Jungkook still blames it on the little device.

He was finally in a deep sleep for the first time in two weeks when he woke up feeling harsh pains in his lower abdomen worsening by the minute. He quickly pushed Taehyung's arm off and grabbed his stomach. "Ow!" He cried when the pain suddenly got worse, it felt like his insides were being ripped apart, and he felt a wetness gush out of him, adding more fluid to the damp sheets beneath him. He flung off the blankets and felt a wet spot. He touched it with his fingers and held them up to the moonlight. Blood. "Taehyung...the baby..." He gasped out tears running down his cheeks. "Taehyung, wake up!" He yelled. The older brunet shot up in the bed.
