Once Dr.James put the first baby boy in my arms, a tear glided down my cheeks uncontrollable.
"I want to name him after you." I cried to Michael. "What about Alexander Michael? We can call him Xander!"
"It's perfect!" Michael cooed and kissed my head.
Dr.James then came with two little girls, one extremely little.
"We've had these two girl's names picked out for awhile. Sadie Maddison." I said referring to the beautiful baby girl on my left. "And Zoey Morgan" for the little beautiful baby.
Dr.James switched them out again but then I had a girl and a boy placed in my arms.
"Carter Thomas for the boy." Michael said as he ran his hand over Carter's head. "We never decided on the other baby girl's name.."
"Yeah. I know. Come here let me tell you something." I said and I nodded my head back telling him to come here. Michael came over and leaned in. I whispered in his ear.
"I think she'll like.." Michael said standing up straight again.
"So what have you two decided?" Dr.James asked as he took Carter away and put him in his bed.
I smiled at Violet, my nurse. "Violet Mae."
She had a smile from ear to ear. "Did you really? Why?" She asked coming over to me.
"You were so sweet to me and we really do like the name Violet, then Mae is after Michael's mom." I lifted Violet up. "Do you want to hold Violet?" I asked.
"CAN I?" She asked.
"Of course. " I said as Violet took her.
Once I handed Violet off to Violet then Dr.James handed me our last baby boy.
"Nathaniel Owen." I stated. "We'll call him Nathan"
Dr.James took Nathan and put him to bed. Nurse Violet Fern handed off Violet to Dr.James and then gave Michael and myself a hug with tears in her eyes.
"Don't cry. I'll cry." I wiped her eyes and brushed her blonde hair behind her shoulder. Nurse Violet walked out with Dr.James and our six babies, leaving Michael and I alone.
"Six babies..." Michael sat down on my bed with me.
"Yes, plus a four year old.. Hard to believe. Olivia Claire, Alexander Michael, Sadie Maddison, Zoey Morgan, Carter Thomas, Violet Mae, and Nathaniel Owen.
They rolled me back to my room and Olivia came to the hospital with my parents, Granny and Pop. She visited with the babies and held Sadie a lot. She seemed to bond with Sadie the most. My mom had Carter and my dad had Zoey. Then Michael's parents came so they held Nathaniel and Alexander. Michael held Violet and I rested.
When my parents, Sue and Bill left then Michael's parents, Mae and Ken left. Olivia fell asleep beside me and Michael fell asleep on the couch.
