Alice POV

"Hi Mr. Dawn. Sorry I'm late"

"Ahh, Alice, no problem. Here's your schedule." The principal said giving me my schedule.

"Thank you! Bye Mr. Dawn". As I opened the door I saw Matt.

"Hi Matt, thank you for walking me here", I gratefully told Matt.

"No problem Al. Is it ok to call you that?". I chuckle at Matt's words.

"Yeah, it's fine." I smile. He makes me smile, which I haven't done in a long time.

"Hey, umm, I was wondering if you would like to hangout today after school. As friends I mean.", Matt asked.

"Yeah sure, I'd like that"

The rest of the day passed by quickly. At lunch I sat with Jake and his friends which are nicer than I thought and then finished the rest of my classes. Now I'm waiting by Jake's locker to drive us home.

" Hi Al, how was your day?"

"Mrs. Pavloni's class is soo boring! I almost fell asleep". Jake nods.

"Yo bro! Can you drive me home? My car broke down ", Andrew shows up unexpectedly.

"Hello Andrew. I think that's you name right? Jake is driving us home so I suggest you find another ride", I bitterly tell Andrew. Now don't get me wrong, he didn't do anything to me, he actually ignored me but I hate players. Like seriously all they do is mess with your heart and they don't even care.

Andrew looked at me confused for a second before his eyes widened."Ohh I see. You got someone to bang. Nice move bro"

Omg, did he seriously just say that? Uhh I hate him.

"Eww that's gross. She is my cousin. I told you all this morning, remember?"

"Of course he doesn't remember. He was concentrating on the girl that put her tongue in his throat", I say as I roll my eyes. Fuckboy.

"Jealous babe?", he said with a smirk plastered on his face.

"First of all, never call me babe again. I'm not one of your toys. And second of all can you please just find another ride? As you can see I can't stand you"

"It's getting late. Come on guys, let's go", Jake finally spoke up.

We got into his car and drove away.

"Ohh shit!". I remembered I said I'll meet Matt at his house after school.

"Matt stop the car!"

"Why?". I forgot to tell him I was meeting up with Matt. Well, I'll tell him tonight.

"Just stop the car. I'm meeting up with a friend". As he stops the car I immediately get out and thank Jake and completely ignore Andrew. Just as I start walking away I faintly hear Andrew saying something to me but I don't hear it clearly so I just ignore it. In less than five minutes I arrive at Matt's house. Yes before we split up he gave me his address and phone number.

"Hi Al", Matt opened the door smiling.
