⚠️⚠️¡WE ARE IN DIRE NEED OF JUDGES!⚠️⚠️

Applications for judges are OPEN.

CURRENT CAPACITY: 2/21 JUDGES (17%)

We can use all the help we can get. If you're confident you can become a judge, please read the criteria below as see if you fit:

❄️ You must be willing to set aside at least 5 hours each week to aid in the judging process.

❄️ You must be able to diligently assess books based on their originality, potential and whether or not you've seen their story before. The entire point of Fresh Authors Awards is to promote completely ORIGINAL WORK, meaning, you're the first to do it and it hasn't been seen anywhere else.

❄️ You can't be a judge for a category that you've entered. To see which categories we cater to, head to the Categories chapter. There are a particular set of genres we are willing to accept. We aren't an all inclusive Awards, and we aren't People's Choice. The judges choose the winners fairly, and they have domain over which genres they accept.

❄️ You must have some amount of experience critiquing or editing works on Wattpad. Whether you run a critique or editing/review book on your profile, or you review and critique works in your spare time-or even if you have a good eye for weak areas in novels and ways to improve, you're more than eligible as you'd be a valuable member of our board.

❄️ You must respond to PMs and requests quickly, and any other questions.

⚠️ BE AWARE OF THIS: If you become a judge you are not only a board member for the contests but for FRESH AUTHORS AWARDS. You will not be forced into other projects you don't want to participate in, but keep in mind that Judges are board members.

Think you can hold up to these standards? If you're not sure, let us be the judge if that. Go ahead and submit if you at least answered an affirmative to two of these requirements.

If so, fill out this form in the comments section at the end of this chapter, not inline, and we'll get back to you.

For any questions about Judges, judging, or board members, PM either of us at EchoSagal and emo_anxious_potato.

For ease of filling out the form we've posted it in the comments, and we've put it here at the bottom so you can see it better.

- How much time you are willing to put into judging works
- Which of the 7 genres are you willing to evaluate? (Can't be one you're participating in).
- (subjective) If you'd like to be a judge but you've also submitted work, what is your entry?

Good luck and happy submissions.
