Sal groaned and tried to move her muscles, but weakness precluded her from doing so. She wasn't used to feeling this weak. "What's wrong with me?" She grumbled peeling her eyes open and squinting at the bright lights that filled the room.

"Page, you're up." Sal turned her gaze to see Lord Pillet sitting by her bedside. "We thought you might be dead."

Sal sat up and groaned. "Not dead." She croaked. "What exactly happened anyway? Last thing I remember was the fire."

"I'm probably not the best person to tell you that." He got up, and as he did, the door opened to reveal a man in a dark green robe.

The man had medium black hair with streaks of white in it, along with a long beard. His deep black eyes stared down at Sal as she tried to think of who this man was. He was obviously a Master, but Sal didn't recognize him from her teachings.

He strolled forward and took the seat the Lord Pillet had occupied before. "I am Master Damin." He said holding out a hand. Sal just stared at him strangely, she had no idea who he was and why he was here. He pulled back his hand and clasped his hands. "I'm here to talk with you."

"Why?" Sal asked eyeing him down. "Did I do something wrong?"

Lord Pillet, who was standing in the doorway pursed his lips, and turned and left, leaving just Sal and Master Damin. Sal tensed up, but Master Damin smiled at Sal warmly. "Nothing that you knew of." He said.

Sal scrunched her eyebrows together, she didn't like his wording. "What did I do?" She started to get panicky. "Did I hurt someone?" As Sal began to push off her blankets, Master Damin raised his hand, and dark green lights erupted from them and Sal couldn't move the blankets anymore. Sal looked over at him scared. "Who are you?"

"I am the Chaotic Master of this palace." He said. "And you my dear are a chaotic healer."

There was a long silence as Sal absorbed his words. "Chaotic healer?" Sal asked. "I don't have chaotic powers."

"You say the last thing you remember was the fire, well, you went into a sort of emotional induced trance." Sal listened intently as he talked. "Your chaotic energy took over, and you went to the fire, and you summoned the fletcher Ramsey to you."

"What do you mean by summoned?" Sal asked. "Ramsey died in the fire. I watched as the flames engulfed him. there is no way he survived."

"No he didn't." Damin said. "But being a chaotic healer, you were able to bring him back from the dead."

Sal shook her head. "No," She said. "No, I couldn't have. I didn't even mean too!"

"No of course you didn't mean too." He said in a soft reassuring voice. "I'm sure if you knew the consequences of bringing someone back from the dead, you would have never done it."

"Consequences?" Sal inquired.

Master Damin stood up and started pacing. Whatever he was about to say was making him nervous. "What you first have to learn about Chaos magic, is that all energy comes from somewhere. Most chaotic's can only harness the loose energy in the world, but certain chaotic's, who have other magics, can get energy from other places. As a chaotic healer, you can transfer energy from living things."

Sal listened to his specific wording and she knitted her eyebrows together. "You said transfer? If Ramsey is back from the dead, where did I get the energy to do it?" She asked.

Damin lowered his gaze. "From another person." He said in a near whisper.

"I killed someone!" Sal shoot out of bed, but as soon as she stood up dizziness took over and she started to fall, but something cradled her fall, and she looked around to see dark green energy surrounding her. Master Damin raised his hands and gently lifted Sal so that she was standing again.
