Dont Fall for Me

WAR of HEARTS

Walking over to the VIP was almost surreal. I had a feeling an inkily that Valentino was a vampire, but Samuel I've never been more lost and confused not when my parents died hell no even when my powers first manifested. This was different though,  Mateo led me over to a seat I heard Symphoni trying to get my attention but everything was lost to me in that moment. If I had to explain the inner turmoil I was feeling at the moment it would be like standing in the middle of a category five hurricane, you know it deadly, dangerous but you can't help but focus on how beautiful and strong mother nature truly is. I hadn't known Valentino or Samuel very long, but I had shared something special with both Valentino a little more since I actually remembered each time we shared.  I stare over at the bar where I had left both men but they were no longer there. I look around again but they really weren't there, I stand up ready to go look for them when Mateo grabs my hand again telling me to leave it that they had unfinished business. I guess he told me that to ease my mind, but it didn't the exact opposite I bite my lip in worry. I didn't know who I was worried for Samuel or Valentino maybe for myself.  These men were vampires for god sakes, my father told me stories of vampires growing up forget everything Twilight ever said there are no vegan vampires and they damn sure don't sparkle in the sunlight.

I watched the door just waiting for one of them to walk back in. Why did I care so much, this summer was supposed to be fun no strings attached fun.  I grabbed a couple shots off the tray that the waitress had placed in front of us I don't know when and I don't care I just wanted to relax two maybe five shots later I was on the dance floor rocking to the music I felt arms wrap themselves around my waist not really caring who I continued to dance. I felt my hair being pulled to the side someone kissing down my exposed neck, a soft whimper leaves my lips before that person is forcefully yanked off of me by an unimpressed Mateo. He looks over my head before pulling back over to the VIP section where Symphoni and Valentino are waiting, when did he come back in and why did Mateo come and get me and not him. Valentino yanks me over to him putting me on his lap "Now wait just a damn minute" I say upset "Be quiet Delanei" Valentino hisses at me he; literary sounded like an angry cat to me his posture was rigid his eyes pitch black as he stared at me. I bite my lip cutting off the sarcastic remark that was itching to come out. He took a deep breath and all I could think was do vampire need to breathe " Mateo, Symphoni can you leave us alone for a second' he asked them Mateo quickly stood up to leave Symphoni following after giving me a quick look apologizing.  Some friend  I think bitterly, Valentino still hasn't said anything and the more silence passed between us the more nervous I became. I grabbed another drink just to have my hands busy taking, "So um why did you have them leave?" he doesn't say anything just continues staring at me. "Okay" I try again "What did you want to talk about". He doesn't even blink not going to lie I was getting nervous but I wouldn't show it since he wasn't talking I decide to leave. I stood up leaving before I could get one foot out the area he had me pinned against the wall. "Don't fucking move" he growls out.

Valentino's POV

Once Delanei left Samuel and I glared at each other a little bit longer before I couldn't take it and I pounced. My fist connected with his jaw and I'm sure if we both were human his jaw would have been broken. Some how we made it out side the fight was intense  I went to punch him again but he ducked cause my hand to hit brinks leaving a dent into the building structure. He tackled me to the ground punching me back, fuelled by anger we fought destroying any and everything in our path. I got the upper hand beating him with a quickest "Stay away from my mate" I told him in a deadly tone. He gets up chuckling rubbing his jaw "What's wrong Val mad I had her first" that pissed me off even more but before I could kill him because no doubt as mad as I was feeling I would have he was gone. Coward, I thought darkly when I got back into the club I went straight over to the VIP section it pays when it's your club Delanei was on the dance floor she looked like she was having a good time dancing by herself. Which was fine with me I needed to get myself together before speaking to her anyway. Everything was fine until I heard her whimper my anger quickly returning Mateo went to grab her before I could do anything stupid. When I asked our friends to excuse themselves for a couple minutes I had every intention of talking to Delanei but Samuel words were swirling around my head. 'Whats wrong Val mad I had her first'  now I had question had they slept together was tonight not the first time they had met. When Delanei got up to leave I snapped "Don't fucking move" I growled "We need to talk" she quickly nodded sitting back down...

Normal POV

Delanei bites her bottom lip again she noticed she had been doing that a lot lately. Valentino stares again before he opens his mouth "How do you know Samuel"? Out of all the things she thought he would say that was not the first on her list to be perfectly honest.  She told him how they had met on the beach when she hit him with the volleyball, and then again later at a club. Valentino wasn't stupid he knew when someone wasn't telling the whole truth. he waited to see if she would add any more to the story and when she didn't he pressed on "And what else, did you sleep with him" Delanei looked put out "I don't see how that is any of your business" she shot back "Oh but it is little witch it is" "And why is that" she asked "Because you're mine, and if I find out another man has touched what is mine I'll kill them" he said, darky. Delanei mouth dropped "Wh-What do you mean" Now Delanei wasn't stupid by all means she knew what he meant she just wasn't prepared for that. "You're my mate Delanei" Valentino tells her Well shit there goes my no string attached fun summer she thought.He pulled her closer kissing her deeply "You're mine" 

WELL so um I need to be honest with you guys Valentino was just supposed to be like a secondary character someone that Delanei hooked up with kinda like a roadblock between her and Samuel. But I don't think he liked that very much. Valentino has stolen the lead male role hahaha... So tell what you guys think thoughts on this chapter  btw I love that damn song  Ruelle gets me um also would anyone like to make a cover for this story I'd appreciate it very much
