[Y/N]
Seeing that I live so far away from the school, the bus doesn't even come to pick me up. So, Adam and I made sure that our friends picked us up everyday. My taxi driver, was CJ. Short for Charlie.
Charlie, had her own car. I would too, but my parents said I wasn't 'responsible' enough. Instead, I get to drive my uncles' car, when he comes, every 2 years. And, not to mention, his car was usually had beer cans strewn everywhere, and his scent, was very profound and strong.
I waved Adam goodbye and headed for her car.
Charlie was one of the more popular girls I was talking about. She, unlike me, has quite a fashion sense. For example, today, she had chosen to wear, a sunset-orange crop top, with some extremely skinny jeans, and bracelets that shot back in forth excitedly, every time Charlie moved her hands, making quite a scene. She had long blonde hair, and sky-blue eyes. She had high cheekbones, and a firm jaw. Her eyelashes were coated with mascara, and she had put a good amount of blush on. Yet she looked fabulous. She looked stunning underneath all that makeup, but obviously she couldn't see that.
As soon as Charlie had seen me, she jumped out of her car and waved me over. "Y/N! Come on! Hop in!" I obeyed, and tumbled into the backseat, where I was met face-to-face with C/N. "Hey," I said awkwardly, and got out of his way. C/N was my boyfriend, but that didn't excuse him from being on my awkward list. I was like that with everyone, except for a few. Drew, Ash, and Ryan. "Hey," he answered. There was something off in his voice. It was hesitant, and guarded. "Are you okay?" I asked. He nodded, but I didn't believe him for a second. None-the-less, I didn't press the subject anymore.
C/N was always the cheerful one. The one to ask me if I was okay. But it seemed as if he was hesitant around me. His F/C eyes had so many emotions floating around them.... Regret.... Disgust.... Relief?! His usual frizzy hair seemed different. More tame?
I knew I wasn't the perfect match for him. I think it was always obvious. We both didn't want to be dating. But we had our reputations to tend to, and had to make it work. He wanted to take chances. I was cautious. Every time we went to a party, I turned down his requests for, "teenage fun"- as he called it. In return, he never accepted my invitations to my meetings. C/N must've seen the hurt in my eyes, because for a split moment, I saw his expression soften. But it was too late. I had turned around. I didn't care anymore.
What really bothered me was, why now? C/N and I had been dating for almost a year. Why now, did he decide he couldn't take it anymore. From what I can see, nothing was holding him back. Yes, my sister made him date me, but there was no contract. I was the one under her hold. Maybe, he saw another girl he liked? For all I know, he could've been cheating on me for the past year. You would think that would phase me. But it didn't. We didn't have anything romantic, so- to put it plainly-I didn't care.
I spent the rest of the ride looking out the window. We were turning to the next rode, when I saw him. He was walking down the street, hands in his pockets. I couldn't see his face, because as soon as I saw him, the car passed, and he disappeared. but I knew it was him. It was the boy I saw last night.
A/N Sam? More like DAMN! Huehuehuehue
