I had one day left before the showcase and rehearsals seemed to be non stop. I felt like I could do the routine in my sleep.

I needed to go to one last costume fitting. I was pulling my hair into a ponytail when my phone started ringing.

It was Harry.

"Hey babe." I answered.

"Hello gorgeous. How are you?" He asked me.

I smiled, "I'm good. I'm getting ready to go back to the studio. Last costume fitting and then the big day is tomorrow."

"I wish I could be there for you." He confessed.

I wished he could too. I knew tomorrow I was going to be a nervous wreck. He was one of the only few people who could calm me down.

"I understand, Harry." I told him. I didn't want him to feel badly about not being able to show up.

"I love you, (y/n)."

I smiled a little, "I love you too."

An hour later, I was walking into the auditorium that we were having our annual showcase at. Everyone was around preparing the last minute details. The lights were being adjusted and different colors were appearing.

I went backstage and found some of the other dancers sitting in the dressing room. We had to wait for our costumes to arrive.

I checked my phone for any messages and I found one from Niall.

Niall: Harry is feeling a little bad about missing your show tmrw.

I groaned internally. I knew that was going to happen.

Me: I already told him it's fine. I'll have to talk to him later.

Naomi came in with our costumes and the guys went to change in a separate room. Cam had been ignoring me. He walked in a little after I did and he went to sit with one of the other dancers. He was being so childish.

I got dressed into my leather shorts and white blouse. I looked at myself in the mirror.

I had to admit; I was looking pretty good. I grabbed my phone and snapped a picture.

Me: Like what you see?

I attached the photo and within seconds I got a reply.

Harry: you should only wear those shorts around me.

Me: well hundreds on ppl will see me in them tmrw lol

Harry: -_- not fair

I laughed at his message before I had to head to the stage. We were going to do a rehearsal in our costumes.

Cam came on stage and stood near me. I was dreading having to dance near him. He still hasn't spoken to me.

We went through the dance one time. I was glad that practice was quick today. I needed my rest for tomorrow.

I went to change and grab my things. Cam walked straight passed me in the hallway. I had to do something about the situation we were in.

The next day, I woke up full of nerves. It was my first real performance in front of hundreds of people. I couldn't believe that I was going to do something that I just recently discovered that I had a passion for.

I got out of bed and took a hot shower. The heat seemed to calm me down a bit. I changed into sweatpants and a plain white tee. I didn't bother doing my hair or makeup. They had people that was going to do it later.

Torrance was already making breakfast in the kitchen when I walked in.

"I'm making pancakes!" She squealed.

I laughed at her, "How many cups of coffee have you drank?"

"Just one. I'm really excited for you tonight! I have my camera all charged up." She smiled.

She was like a proud parent. Before I could say something, the doorbell buzzed.

I went to answer it and a flower delivery guy was there.

"Delivery for (y/n)." He said.

"That's me." He made me sign a paper and then handed me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers.

"Those are so pretty!" Torrance told me.

I set down the flowers and grabbed the card that was in them.

"Sorry I couldn't be there. Knock them dead, gorgeous ;)

I love you, Harry"

It was time. The curtain was opening in five minutes. I was in my costume. My hair was curled to perfection. My makeup was flawless.

And me?

I was nervous as hell.

I took a few deep breaths and told myself that everything would be okay. I wished Harry was here.

I really haven't heard from him today besides the card that came with the flowers.

I expected a call or at least a text from him. But, I got nothing.

It was almost time. We were standing in our positions ready to perform.

"Good luck, (y/n)." Cam told me.

It was the first time he spoke to me in days.

"You too, Cam." I smiled.

The lights were off. The curtains opened and the music started. I knew then that the performance was going to be amazing.

We all danced just like we did hundreds of times in practice. I smiled halfway through the performance because I know we killed it.

When it was all over, I felt a relief. All of the hard work was over. The countless practices were all done.

When the curtain closed, we all hugged each other and jumped up and down.

"You guys did an amazing job!" Naomi told us as we exited the stage. I hugged her and thanked her for giving me the opportunity.

I went into the dressing room and checked my phone to see if Harry called. Still nothing.

"Are you okay?" Cam asked me.

I nodded, "I just haven't heard from Harry."

He scoffed, "Wow, what a boyfriend."

"He happens to be very busy." I retorted.

"Yeah, to busy for his girlfriend."

"Cam, get the hell away from me. I don't need to hear the negative and false things coming out of your mouth!" I yelled at him. Thankfully no one was around to witness our scene.

"I could treat you so much better." He purred as he grabbed the tops of my arms. He pulled me closer to him and I tried to escape his grasp. He was too strong.

"Let me go!" I screamed.

He crashed his lips against mine and I tried to pull away. I didn't get the feeling I did when Harry kissed me. It wasn't soft or enjoyable.

I shoved him away and that's when I saw him.

Harry was standing in the doorway.
