The Diary Of A Wanna Be Ice Hockey Player

25/07/2017 - First game of term 3

Last night's game sucked. 

Our team was all over the place, literally! It was as if everyone had given up before the game even started.

I tried my best, but I still felt a bit helpless because the team wasn't there when I pushed us up into our offensive zone. Oh, and the head coach of the NZ Ice Fernz was there. (Our Female Ice Hockey Team.)

My coach said that I made some good plays, so I'm happy about that. Training has been great too - I've been giving it 110% at all times, and I think it's showing.

The final score was 6 - 7.

One thing I find about my team is that during the first period, we give it our all, while during the second we die off, and the third we come back and try to win. It's frustrating for me because the whole game, I give it my all.

Ah well, I will just have to wait for next week.
