Jake POV: I have the ring right here. I've looked at it every day deciding when to propose. Now is that time, time to make her my wife.
Erika POV: Jake has been acting really strange lately, he doesn't seem upset but he doesn't seem happy either. I'm really hoping we aren't having problems, these have been the best 6 months of my life. Jake has made my life so much better than it would've been without Team 10. Being a part of Team 10 is indescribable, it's made me a better person, more motivated, more loving, and it has introduced me to some amazing people. Jake has done so much for me, I never want to lose that.
Jake POV: I just bought a blue tux, Erika's favorite color. Everything has to be absolutely perfect, I have all of Team 10 in another room watching the proposal on the hidden cameras, I don't want them to disrupt. Erika and I basically have the house to ourself, and Tessa and Erika's best girl friends helped me decorate the house. There are candles everywhere, lights all along the walls, flowers, rose pedals on the floor and romantic music playing. Today is the day I ask her to spend the rest of our lives together. Erika just got home from girls night with Meg, hopefully she has no idea what's about to happen.
Erika POV: Jake wasn't answering his phone for a while so I finally convinced Meg to take me home. I guess Jake had a reason as to why he was so busy, he decorated the entire house for a romantic date. He is full of surprises, he was even wearing a blue tux, which was much fancier than usual, it is our six month anniversary. I told him to wait a minute and I went over to my room to put a dress on, I made sure to put on something plenty revealing to make him drool. Yet for some reason that wasn't working on him tonight, he wasn't paying attention to how I looked, the entire date he was just looking into my eyes with a smile, yet he seemed incredibly nervous. This time he didn't even order post-mates, he made dinner himself, he made steak. That's also a lot fancier than usual, we began to eat and we talked for a few hours. It was pretty surprising no Team 10 Members had interrupted yet, we never get this lucky. So Jake brought me over to the couch and we talked some more.
Jake POV: "Erika, I love you. These past 6 months have been crazy, the best part of my life. All because of you, all of the adventures we've been on together. You've completed me, and ever since I've met you that's when my heart forever was fulfilled. I want you to watch this".
"That wedding in Vegas should've been real, Erika. That was when I realized how much I needed you, how special you were to me. Since day one you've always had my back and supported me, you appeared in my vlogs, traveled with me, joined me on set, we even bought a house together, maybe that was a sign leading to our future. Right when I hired you I knew I was in love" Erika was tearing up and really listening to what I had to say. "I was completely shy at first, and there were plenty of people with us at that lunch. But as I looked into your eyes, I could see there was something so special about you. As I listened to your voice I could really hear how much you cared, when I saw you smile it made my heart skip a beat. All I could think about was that damn smile, and how perfect your lips were. I wanted to kiss you so much that day. I've wanted to kiss you every day. Since we met all that's ever been on my mind was you, I've been madly in love ever since. When we are together it's as if time stopped itself, my entire focus is on you, the love of my life, my soulmate". I got down on one knee and pulled the ring out, "You're beautiful, talented, sexy, smart and everything in between, you're the perfect one for me. I promise to love you, and take care of you, protect you, and I promise to start an amazing future with you, including kids" I laughed "Erika Costell, I promise to love you forever, to cherish you" I opened the box and showed her the ring. "Will you marry me?" At this point Erika was happy crying in a way I've never seen her do, there were so many tears but a big beautiful smile.
Erika POV: Now I know why Jake has been acting so weird, it was out of nerves, and the gelled hair should've made it clear tonight would be special, he never gels his hair. He's asking me to spend the rest of our lives together, and I thought he couldn't have asked sooner. "Took the words right out of my mouth. Of course I'll marry you" I kissed him deeply, grabbed the ring and jumped into his arms. That's when all of Team 10 came running down. I knew they couldn't all be gone at the same time. This house is never empty.
All of them began jumping around and cheering, even Nick.
Tessa POV: "You're engaged! There is so much planning ahead of us!" I hugged Erika until I basically suffocated her, I couldn't be happier!
Nick POV: "I guess you guys aren't so bad, you do make a cute couple.." I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to get those words out of my mouth, but I've finally accepted Jerika.
The Ohio Boys, Chad, the Twins, Alex and Tristan jumped around with excitement, all of them telling Jake how proud they were that he 'sealed the deal' and that he was no longer a free man. Then threw stuff in the pool.
Jake POV: "Come kiss me baby" I pulled Erika towards me by her hips and passionately kissed her. "Ready for the future, Fiancé?" I smiled and looked directly into her eyes.
Erika POV: "More than ever". Jake began to carry me to our room, "Fiancé." I kissed Jake and we called it a night.
