Jake POV:
The fact that Erika was the one who wanted to go to Ohio says everything, how much she cares and that she wants to meet my family. We just keep growing closer and closer and its great. She is the love of my life, and now she gets to meet some of the most important people in my life. She is already very close with my mother, Pam, lets see if she gets along well with everyone else. This trip is going to be amazing, all because I will be with my fiancé in Ohio. Right now we are in the car on the way to the airport, "I am so glad you want to meet my family, but when do I get to meet yours?"
Erika POV:
"I would love for you to meet my family, and I am sure they would love to meet you. But lets get to Ohio first, baby" I smiled and kissed him on the cheek. We got to the airport and went onto the plane, we cuddled and napped together the entire time.
Jake POV:
"We're here, honey, now its time to show you around my hometown." I looked right into her eyes and I could see how happy she truly was with me, and I feel the exact same way with her. We walked to my childhood home and surprised my mother. She was so happy to see me, but much more anxious to see Erika. She had not really seen Jerika in person, now she got that chance, she was excited to see the woman I would be spending the rest of my life with and the one who makes me the happiest man on Earth.
Pam POV:
"Jerika in the flesh, I have seen so much online but it is even better to see in person!" I hugged Erika and Jake, my youngest son who is getting married. "The happy couple themselves, I cannot wait for this wedding! And then some grandchildren!"
Erika POV:
I laughed, "Well we are not quite there yet, but we will be" I looked at Jake and saw my future, a family.
Jake POV:
"Don't worry mom, we will give you grandkids, but for now we are gonna go pay dad a surprise visit". I gave my mom a kiss on the cheek, it is good to be home every once in awhile.
Arriving to Greg's House
Jake POV:
"Dad! I'm home!" I yelled and found my dad in the garage "Erika and I decided to take a trip, meet the family" I smiled as Erika held me by the hip. "And you guys get to meet the love of my life".
Greg POV:
I hugged Jake and Erika, "So when's the wedding, and where is my invite?" I laughed "Can't wait to see you two tie the knot, it's about time!" I could tell Jake was in love when he first told me about Erika, I always knew how he felt about her and I am glad he finally did something about it all of those months ago.
Erika POV:
"So, show me your room babe"
Jake POV:
"Oh, I'll show you my room alright" I carried Erika to my room and plopped her on my bed and began kissing her, "How do you like my room?"
Erika POV:
"Almost as great as the one we have together" I continued to kiss Jake but then the doorbell rang. I could not believe she was here, how could she have known that we were here?
