The One That Broke The Junker

"What the hell?!" the bounty hunter yelled. He saw the note left in Jamisons hand that had his signature smiley face but with its tongue out.

"Seems your friend ran off without his arm before you got to talk." Lúcio said.

"Indeed, think they will give me his arm so I can get it back to him. Maybe then he will talk to me. I just need to know what happened.... What changed."

"Listen Satya if he wants to walk out of your life let him leave. Thats his lose not yours. Don't waste your time chasing someone who doesn't deserve to be chased." Lúcio said but Satya only listened to a small part of what he had to say. She tapped the bounty hunter on the shoulder.

"What do you want? Can't you see I'm trying to figure out where my fugitive went so I can capture him."

"yea that's great and all bit I was just wondering if I could have his arm"

"No way this is how we get him to come back to us to catch him."

"He won't come back for it. He won't take the risk of getting caught. He is a junker he will make a new one sure it will take him time to get it back to as nice as that one is but in the long wrong no he doesn't need to come back for that arm." the bounty hunter sighed knowing she was right and just handed her the arm.

" Thank you"
"Not like I could hold on to it, the damn thing would just be a reminder that he got away"

"Still thank you." Satya and Lúcio paid their bills and headed for the door.

"so I take it you are off to find your criminal friend?" lúcio asked as Satya looked over Jamisons metal arm.

"Hmm yes. However I take it that you don't approve?" she said still focused on the arm. Lúcio sighed.

"Just be careful."
"Hmm there is something else wrong" She said looking at him.

"im just sick of being the nice guy that finishes last. Every time it just always seems to be a criminal. So yea kinda salty."

"From our talks about your past incident I wouldn't say you were being a nice guy. If anything like I told you before you were being an ass. Our relationship hasn't changed we are still friends. I explained to you that people can't help when they aren't attracted to someone in the same way. I wasn't aware that your jealousy was this bad though. Jamison is a friend your a friend no need to act this way. " Satya said and he looked at her wide eyed. It was the first time she had called him out. Sure they had talked about what happened with Hana bit mostly she just listened.

" Listen I know we are just friends I'm just trying to look out for you." Lúcio was honestly concerned for her being around someone as dangerous as Jamison. Not only that but of she goes to meet him chances are Mako would be with him and then what would happen.

" I thank you for your concern but I'll be ok. "
" well please be careful. Junkr-"
"Jamison" Satya corrected and Lúcio sighed.

"Fine Jamison is a mad man, he is insane and he is obsessed with blowing things up and explosives. At least tell me you see why I'm concerned for you to go hunting for a man like this."

"I do and thank you. I know all of that but he has never once tried to hurt me. He has saved me a few times and has been very considerate. So the least I can do is get his arm back to him. It would take time to get one back to this quality with the life style he has. " Satya said. Lúcio shook his head but gave in.

" So do you even know where to find him? "
" No but I know someone who will be able to get ahold of him"

"Mind if I tag along I kinda want to make sure you get home ok." Satya knew there was no point in fighting it.

"Sure" She said with a shrug they left and headed for her contact.

"So when did you meet the trash child" she glared at him

"What?"
"you mean Jamison" she said he put his hands up like my bad.

"Fine where did you mean Jaminson"
"we happened to be put on the same mission a few times. He was hired on as extra help."

"So you just trust him because you have worked with him? Believe me I have worked with people daily who still surprise me with the things and choices they do and make." Satya sighed

"This again. Besides he has given me no reason not to trust him. When we first worked together I was concerned but if anything he proved to me I could count on him. I honestly had no hopes of him being reliable or trust worthy. Especially because he is terrified of snipers. But on our first mission he put himself in harms way to save me. Ironically it was from the sniper. "

" We have worked together. You are usually pretty vital to the mission I'm sure even he can see that much. " lúcio said.

" Maybe, but the second mission I made a rather big mistake. The team could have been hurt badly or... Worse. Jamison was very comforting though. I was being so hard on my self. He ended up twisting everything and blamed himself. Said that he knew his mines blowing up made to much noise for me to handle and he was the reason I couldn't concentrate. "

" So your telling me it was his fault because his answer for everything is explosives. " lúcio replied

" No. He was no where near my part of the mission. His minds went off and I didn't even hear them. He told the team it was his error. He wouldn't let me tell them. They weren't surprised he would be one to mess up and laughed it off. Then in the last mission with you did you know he changed the mines so they wouldn't make sound for me. The boom is one of his favorite parts, but he remembered that the sound bothers me."

" So he is a compassionate lunatic. "
" No. He is just different. I feel no one has ever taken the time to get to know him" Satya said.

"Did you ever consider that there might be a reason for that. Like.... Oh maybe the fact that he is a lunatic criminal who loves explosives. Probably how he lost his arm and leg anyways." Lúcio said shaking his head.

"You surprised me. I figured you would be the more welcoming type. I mean after all we worked through our differences and became friends." Satya said

"we are sorta friends. You just need to see I'm right. Also I am welcoming of the omnics. It's just criminals, let's be honest criminals have a history of making bad choices. Like stealing, killing and blowing things up. Sound like anyone?"

"People can change and surprise you."
"oh isn't that the truth."
They got to their destination and headed to the door. Satya knocked and Lúcio was shocked at who he saw when the door opened.
