Talon

"Explain this to me again" Amélie said as she sat in the car while Gabe drove.

"There was attack on the computer while Olivia was inside. Everything went dark on our end so we don't know what happened in the computer." Gabe said.

"Why not, where was Athena?" She asked and Gabe sighed

"Winston pulled her out but didn't have time to get Olivia." Gabe said and Amélie shook her head

"Of course... Stupid ape." She mumbled. She had a hard time liking Winston. This made things hard with Lena being so close to him.

"So where do they think she is?" Amélie asked
"He doesn't know. He seems to think she generated the attack to jump to talons network which we are going to check." Gabe said

"That's why you came and got me. I'm the distraction. Moira will be to focused on me while you go looking to see if Olivia moved to Talon. I can tell you now you won't find her." Amélie said.

"im hoping I don't. But Hana has hurt her." Gabe said

"I don't care what Hana has done. You and I aren't in Talon any more. She has friends that can help her. So there isn't a reason to go back there. There are plenty of jobs available too. Olivia has never been the one to let relationships control her life. You know as well as I do that when there is a break up she moves along like it was never there to begin with. " Amélie said and Gabe sighed again. If anyone knew Olivia it was Amélie. They were close and would spend the day together when Gabe wasn't feeling well. He knew that they talked for hours on end about anything and everything.

" that maybe true but she always liked the freedom Akande gave her. She could come and go as she wanted and make her own choices on missions. Talon as been a since if home to her it has for all of us. We might not agree with what they do now but we didn't always agree with overwatch either and that's something worth remembering. " Gabe said and Amélie sighed he was right. She just didn't like the idea of Olivia being near Moira. Amélie closed her eyes and sat quietly remembering all Moira had done to her.

Moira was the reason she became a sleeper agent. All the test they did on her. She made it so she couldn't feel. It was so easy to shoot at Lena and the others and not have a single thought of regret. They were her target that's all that mattered and that's all she needed to know. When they did some tests and her feeling started to come back she hid them. It was overwhelming. But Gabe and Olivia were there. The helped her through it and kept her secret. She was able to feel again. She was scared Moira would do something like that to Olivia. Olivia has been hurt in a level she never felt before and Amélie knew that. She was worried she would do something over the top like allow Moira to take her feeling away.

Amélie couldn't imagine it though. Olivia was always so expressive with them. Of course it took alot if getting to know her for her to be comfortable with them but it happened. The closer they got to Talon the more uncomfortable Amélie got. She had no desire to go in and was scared of what would happen if she was wrong or and Olivia did jump to their server. What would that mean? Gabe parked the car and looked at Amélie.

"Ready?" he asked
"no, but do I honestly have a choice in the matter?" Amélie asked. Gabe sighed and shook his head.

"No I guess not." He replied. They got out of the car and headed in. Some of the patrol troops greeted them. They got to where Akande was and he was signing some papers.

"I'm going to guess your up to no good" Amélie said. Akande smiled and turned and gave her a hug.

"Of course. I would share with you but I know you both have your overwatch partners." Akande said.

"We came to check on Olivia" Gabe said.
"I figured. She is with Moira." Akande said and with that they quickly started walking towards Moiras lab. The door opened and Moiras back was to them. From their point of view it looked like an orb was sucking the life out of Olivia.

"What are you doing?!" Gabe said pulling Moira away from Olivia. The group was shocked that it was Gabe that reacted. Amélie eyed him. It was clear in that moment that he also didn't trust Moira one hundred percent.

"oh hi Gabriel. I am trying to make sure her body is fully prepared. The orb is a healing ball. Something new I came up with." Moira said with a smile. She was proud of her self and felt they should be too. Moiras eyes quickly settled on Amélie. At first she seemed shocked that Amélie actually was standing in front of her. That faded quickly as Moira started looking Amélie over like she was a test subject all over again.

"How did you reverse what I did to you" Moira said reaching to touch Amélies face. Amélie took a step back.

"love." Amélie said and Gabe then snuck off to go see if Olivia was in the server.

"You want me to believe something as silly as that broke you out from being a sleeping agent?" Moira said skeptically.

"I'm not surprised you don't understand. Your life had been all about science. The studying and the learning. You wonder why anyone you ever dated leaves but in reality you've only dated people because you felt you had to for society." Amélie said.

"It's not my fault that there are more important things that need to be done. I have better thing to do. I'm not interested in relationships." Moira said.

"Then why care so much about mine" Amélie said and Moira sighed.

"It's not your relationship I'm interested in. I want to know how you broke free after all the work I did." Moira said.

"Guess you'll never know" Amélie shrugged

"I could always try again" Moira said with a wicked smile.

"Over my dead body." this made Moira smile more.

"I could arrange that"

"Wow that's enough of that. I got what I needed we should go" Gabe said. Amélie didn't have time to say anything else. Gabe was dragging her away. Which ment he found something. She was now worried as to what it was.
