Nothing beats a hot chocolate while watching the sunrise in the morning at our balcony. This is the only time peace embraces me. After this, problems will again stab me mercilessly. Why does fate has to be this cruel? I lost my parents in an early age, i live with my uncle which happens to be a mad scientist who works for an UNAUTHORIZED organization. Since he was feeding me for almost 20 years, i work for him as his personal assistant to somehow repay my debts and because of that, my relationship with my girlfriend is sinking. Our boat is sinking basically because neither of us is seeking a way to keep us sailing.

"Come on son, stop looking like a downer early in the morning! Try watching Netflix or something." My uncle said shouting. I guess the old man is awake now. I really can't see his expression since my back is facing him but in our 20years living in the same roof? I think i've memorized his expressions and everyday rituals very well. Now i presume that he is grimacing his wrinkled porcelain face.

"But i really am a downer" i said to him monotoned as i face him and took a sip from my hot choco. Well it's not hot now, it's moderate. My moderate choco.

"Yes yes, say anything you want, it doesn't really matter." He said while prolonging the yes yes part as he sits on the couch and grabs the newspaper. Still arrogant as ever, no wonder no woman can enter his damned life.

"You are thinking how annoying i am and wondering why i'm still not married, am i right?" He asks me while eyeing the newspaper he's holding. But how did he know?! Is my uncle a psychic or something? Is 20 years not enough to fully know him?

"Now you are thinking that i am an unnatural being" he says while nodding his head slowly.

"How the hell did you-" he cut me off as i walk three steps towards him.

"I've known you since you started to talk, of course i know every inch of you, Andrei. You even called me momma when you were a little kid" he said sarcastically. Now i'm speechless. Damn. he wins again.

I sighed as a response. "Whatcha reading there?" I asked as i gulped my last drink.

"An earthquake hit the other side of the city yesterday." He said.

"How bad is it?" I asked curiously.

"7.8" he says as he looks at me seriously in the eye.

"So there is a possibility that this city's next?" I asked as that numbers sinked into my mind. I guess my mind is too crowded and i'll have to fucking wait to process thoughts in my brain.

"It can be." He said as he hurriedly sat up and went to his room saying "get ready. We're going to the UNI." UNI is the society that my uncle and I work for.

And then i hit Send.

"Stop texting. We're almost there." He said while not taking his eyes off on the road. I shutdown my phone and put it inside my pocket. Basically, phones are not included inside UNI. Why? I don't remember. It's something about radiation shits, i think. Once again, i think my brain has a problem. Is it because of i think about problems too much or it's just some of my brain cells are dead? I think i'll cross out the latter.

The car stopped. After 20 minutes of silence We are here at last.

Looking from the outside, UNI is like a simple house of a simple family. But once you enter, you're gonna crap on your pants for witnessing an each rooms full of luxury gadgets and machines.

Uncle Grant inserted the passcode of the house. Once the door opened, uncle grant hurriedly walked inside while mine's casual. On part of the entrance you'll have to sign in and wear your lab coat.

I waited outside his office while staring at my phone, waiting for Lisa's reply. It's my fault anyway, if I weren't in this abandon UNI then we'll have the time for ourselves only. Laughing, dating, watching movies, strolling and calling endearments like a normal couple.

But I can't leave her alone, i promised to her that i will stay by her side forever. I'm the only person she's got and I'm not gonna break her heart like how her family shattered her's into millions of pieces. I love Lisa until the end.

I sighed in boredom. What is the old man doing inside, anyway? Masturbating or something? What's taking him so long?

I turned on the power of my phone  and saw that there is no signal here in my location. I entertain my self by finding a spot that has a signal. I walk, walk, and walk. Then suddenly a bar has appeared. I took a step forward and the bar vanished. I step back and the bar went back. I step on my left foot and the single bar became two.

I looked at my left side. It's the room where the different machines and experiments are stored. I enter the passcode and the door went ajar.

I went inside and the bar in my phone is increasing. I was about to text Lisa when the siren of the UNI what activated. I was about to leave when the ground surprisingly shook. It's an earthquake! I was about to open the door when the ceiling went down. And pile of rocks covered the exit.

I panicked while looking for a table to hide on. I saw one at the side of an unknown machine. It's not too far from here, i can reach it. I slowly walked while balancing myself and being one with the shaking of the ground.

Only a bit more and i'll reach it. Then suddenly it stopped. I ran into the table for an aftershock. While i was running, the ground shake again and i out balanced myself resulting to trip on the unknown machine. My arm bumped on the machine and an unknown feeling was overtaking my body. The machine's pulling my body inside. It's like a magnet that you won't escape unless you give in.

I don't have any options left. If I'm gonna stay like this, I'll be crashed soon. And if i give in, something supernatural might happen. Well I don't want to die so I choose the latter.

I let myself be eaten of the machine. And all became black. My body feels numb. I can't breathe. I can't see anything. I closed my eyes and prayed.

I sense a bright light on my face. I opened my eyes slowly and the sun is facing me. "Shit" I rubbed my eyes in pain while hurting my eyes with the radiant sunlight.

I looked around with curiosity. I'm in an unfamiliar open lot. It's unfamiliar yet so familiar. I noticed some noises coming from behind the trees.

I went there and shocked from what i saw. Unfamiliar People are walking and crossing the street, unfamiliar buildings and unfamiliar place. Where am i anyway? A different dimension?

I walk while looking around curiously. I found a newspaper on the floor swaying by the wind. I grab it and look for the place and date.

I'm in the same place but different timeline. Holy mother of God, i entered a time machine.
