The New Kid

"Is that Sexy Superwoman?" Dr. Avery asked.

"Yeah it is," Dr. Kerev, said very shocked and confused.

"Kerev, Avery." A tall man with a goatee greeted.

"Dr. Sloan." They said in synch.

"What are you guys looking at? Hey isn't that?"

"Sexy Superwoman? Yeah we know." Dr. Avery said cutting off Dr. Sloan....

"Thank you Chief Webber, you won't regret this." Juliette said getting up from the chair in Chief Webber's office.

" I hope that I won't," Chief Webber replied. "Here, I'll show you around. I assume you've found the residents room as you have your scrubs on." He said with a smile. The two of them walked out of the office and out on to the bridge that ran over the open floor of the first level and over looked the main hospital entrance. And behind was a massive window that replaced the far wall of the first floor.

"Ah, Doctors. Meet our new resident Dr. Juliette Knight; she is here to finish her residency. Dr. Knight this is Dr. Mark Sloan our head of plastics. And this is Dr. Alex Kerev and Dr. Jackson Avery, they are both in your level of residency." Chief Webber introduced as Juliette shook their hands one by one...

(In the cafeteria)

"So that's her?" Dr. Grey asked.

"That's her." Dr. Kerev assured.

"What is she doing here?" Dr. Kepner asked.

"To finish her residency." Dr. Avery said.

""I'd give her a week before she cracks." Dr. Yang said.

"Christina!" Dr. Grey snapped.

"I'll give her a month maybe two," Dr. Kerev said.

"Ooo, I'll hold you to that," Dr. Yang said with joy.

"You guys are unbelievable." Dr. Kepner said...

"So that's her?" The tall red haired man asked.

"That's her." Dr. Sloan said.

"Mark, what's she doing here?" She finished her internship?" Dr. Sheppard asked.

"No, her residency." Mark corrected.

"But she's looks like she's almost two years older than Lexie." Dr. Sheppard said.

(End of day)

"So you actually removed her heart?" Dr. Grey asked Christina as they walked to their cars.

"Yeah, Dr. Altman said she should survive long enough until we find her a new one." Christina said. "Mer. Meredith look," she said as she pointed out Juliette getting into her truck.

" She drives a truck? A single woman, who is living in Seattle, and drives a truck. That's not something you see every day." Meredith said.

"That's for sure." Christina replied looking as puzzled as Meredith...

Juliette drove out of the parking lot to head home and just as she did so Juliette saw Dr. Yang and Dr. Grey looking at her with strange faces.

(Back at Connors house)

"How was your first day of school?" Connor asked Juliette from the couch.

"Work Connor, work." She said with a smirk.

"Alright. How was work?" Connor laughed.

"I think they see me as a threat." She said jokingly.

"They should . I mean look at you. Your terrifying." Connor laughed.

"Shut up Con." She replied. "I'm going to bed, night loser."

"Night weirdo," Connor replied smiling...
