A Broken Heart From A Mile Away

It had been two months since Juliette told the truth about her secret past to Owen. Ever since then nothing had changed. Nothing except how Owen treated Juliette, he barely spoke to her and when he did it wasn't for long, he barely even looked at her or even payed attention to her. Juliette hadn't gotten one call from her team either, which meant that Thomas and her team were alright. Juliette and the rest of the staff were called over to the main desk in the surgery wing of the hospital. 

"What do think is going on?" Meredith asked Christina.

"I have no idea? I hope their cutting all the Mercy West kids out." Christina said.

"Hey!" April Kepper called from behind.

"Sorry, but it's true." Christina replied in a high defensive tone. "Any idea where Owen is?"

"No clue. Why does it matter anyways? I thought you guys broke up?" Meredith replied.

"I know, I mean I don't care I was just wondering." Christina said becoming more defensive. She was about to say something else when they saw Derek standing up on the stairs in a tie with his lab coat on.

"Umm. Good morning everyone. So as most of you have heard Richard has currently stepped down as Chief for the time being. Now no need to there will be no changes made besides the extensive grow in paper work on my desk," he said shyly giggling at his little joke but nobody followed his laugh. " Anyways let's get back to saving lives eh?" Derek said clapping his hands together. And with that everyone went back to work. As everyone congratulated Derek, Owen saw Juliette and tried to walk over to her when she suddenly disappeared in the crowed. Meredith and Christina saw Juliette rush off out of the crowd and decided to follow her as she was acting odd. They followed Juliette until she reached an oncall room. Just as Juliette was about to walk in she looked around making sure no one was around. Meredith and Christina hid around a corner to hid from Juliette. Juliette finally walked into the room and closed the door quickly behind her locking it.

"What is it Ross?" Meredith and Christina heard Juliette say.

"She must be on the phone with someone" Meredith said.

"Well no duh." Christina replied sarcastically. Meredith put her finger shushing Christina

" Whoa, whoa, whoa. Calm down Ross. Now tell me what happened?" Juliette said. "He. Oh God. Is he really? They identified the tags and everything. You saw it? What happened." Juliette began to cry.

"Is she crying?" Christina said to Meredith.

"That son of a bitch!" Juliette yelled. "Put me on with the General. Ross you put me on with the General right now! That's an order!"

"General?" Meredith said both of them looking confused.

"General. General Please put me back in. I'm begging you. I'll be fine. And we both know there's no better team to bring him down." Juliette said. "Thank you sir, you won't regret this." Juliette hung up the phone finally letting the tears run. She felt like a piece of her heart had just been ripped from her chest. She's felt pain but nothing like this. No this pain was worse than any physical pain one could imagine. Juliette heard a knock at the door. "Wh. Who is it?" Juliette asked trying to cover the sound of her pain.

"It's Meredith." She said from behind the door Christina still by her side.

"What do you want Grey?" Juliette asked still behind the door hoping and praying she would go away.

"I was just wondering if everything was ok? We heard crying and we got worried." Meredith replied.

"Oh, don't give me that bull shit Grey. I know what you think of me. You and Christina. You guys don't give a crap about me." She said opening the door and storming off.
