Ok, so the jet ride started really nice, but then things just got bad. I definitely can's say that Mckenzie doesn't have style though.
The way she was talking too... I mean, really?
But let me start where we left off.
I laid down to see if this random burst of happiness would go away, and it didn't. So instead, I sat on my bed thinking about Mckenzie. I was thinking things that I normally wouldn't think... Things like: how beautiful she was.
Suddenly, the plane made a violent jolt and I fell off the bed and onto the floor.
"What the heck?" I said out loud.
I pushed myself up and ran to the door. Right when I got there, there was another jolt. I opened the door to see people running around frantically. I stood there for a minute and tried to ask people what was going on, but no one wanted to answer. I left my room and went to look for Mckenzie. If anyone would know what was going on, it would be her. She would tell me.
I wandered for about 5 minutes looking in various rooms of the plane to see if she was there. I couldn't find her at first, but then I came to a door that was slightly ajar. So, being the curious person we all know I am... I peeked to see what was in the room.
After I had seen it, I couldn't do anything except wonder why it was there. It was huge.
There were at least a dozen screens on the wall in front of the room most of them were turned off, but the largest one was on.
On the screen there were 3 people (2 girls and 1 guy) standing at a bus stop. Then, out of no where, some more guys showed up and just stood around. If I was one of the first 3, I would've been suspicious because the other guys didn't seem like they belonged there.
I checked the room to see if there was anyone inside and stepped in.
Wait, ... the girls... they look so familiar. I feel like I know the guy too, but I know the girls more I think. There's one with long dark brown hair and another with super curly medium hair.
The one with the dark hair turns to the boy next to her and says something. When I see her face, I know my gut is right. I know her. It's Lily... no that's not right. Laney? No.
"Lisa!" I yelled out loud.
I shouldn't have yelled.
Mckenzie rushed into the room and I whirled around. She paused when she saw me standing in front of the screens.
"You know one of them?" she asked. She looked afraid.
"Uh... I... Maybe." I stuttered.
Suddenly her eyes took up a crazy glowing blue color.
"Which one do you know?"
"The brown haired girl," I said. I had planned on lying, but she wouldn't let me. Like, it was physically impossible for me to lie to her.
"Mark, how would you like to get off the jet now?" Mckenzie asked. It was such a random question. We were still in the air!
"What do you mean?" I asked skeptically.
"Do you want to get off the jet?" she repeated.
"Aren't we still in the air? What about the screen? Why are you watching them?"
That's all I remember of the conversation.
I woke up in a new room. I'm guessing in an actual building. The room has only a table lamp turned on all other lights are off. I'm laying on a small bed against the wall farthest from the door on the opposite side of the room.
Something seems really off right now. And I know I've said this before, and it wasn't bad, but this time, something was really wrong because the next thing I know, some big dudes are coming into the room and they're bringing something in a closed bag with them.
"What's that?" is what I tried to ask, but nothing came out. I'm not even sure my mouth moved, I couldn't feel it.
"This isn't going to hurt... much." One of the big guys said while the other pulled out something shiny and long.
That's where I blacked out after mentally panicking because I realized that I couldn't move anything other than my eyes.
