"What? We went to the wrong place?" Alex asked.

"It appears that way." Madi replied, "Lisa did you type the correct address?"

"Guys.." Alex cut in.

"4890 Korbin Ct. right?" Lisa confirmed.

"Yes. Is that what you typed?" Madi replied hurriedly.

"Yeah. So I don't know why we're here." Lisa huffed.

"Guys!" Alex cut in again.

"What, Alex?!" Lisa snapped frustrated.

"Shh."

"Wha-" Lisa was cut off with a hand over her mouth.

"Be quiet, I think I heard something." Alex said letting his hand fall from Lisa's mouth once he was sure she would be quiet.

"How could you hear anything?" Madi questioned, "This place is so old. Nobody's been here for ages. Not even an owl wound hear anything."

Alex's head snapped towards the door. He walked over quietly as the girls stepped out of the tube. He put his ear on the door to listen to what was on the other side.

Nothing.

Carefully, he put his hand on the metal doorknob.

"Wait." Lisa said, "Look, at the top, you can see that wire."

"So what?" Alex said.

"So,... That means the door is wired. Maybe whoever was here was expecting some unwanted guests." Lisa explained.

"Well how are we going to get out then?" Alex asked.

"We can't." Madi spoke up, "Unless..." she looked at the wire high above her head.

"Unless what?" Alex asked confused.

Lisa followed Madi's gaze. The wire was too high for any of them to reach without standing in something.

"Alex, grab that big box over there." Lisa commanded, "Hurry."

Confused, Alex did as he was told. He grabbed the large box Lisa had pointed to.

"Where do... you want it?" Alex grunted.

"Right next to the door."

When the box was in the right spot, Lisa climbed up onto it. She reached for the wire. She couldn't reach. She stood on her tip toes, she wobbled but didn't fall. She extended her hand out to grab the wire. This time, she could reach.

"Don't let her fall. If she does, it'll be loud, and won't be good for anyone." warned Madi.

Alex stood behind Lisa with his arms outstretched incase she fell.

Lisa tugged lightly on the wire. When it moved easily, she vent it and frayed the ends, carefully pulling them apart.

Lisa gasped shaking her hand "Ow!"

"What happened?" Alex asked.

"Nothing. I'm fine."

When she was finally done, Alex moved the box back to where he'd gotten it.

"Are you sure nothing's going to happen?" asked Madi.

"Yeah. I mean there wasn't much that I could do over here, but I think we're good." Lisa replied, hoping she was right.

Alex carefully put his hand back on the doorknob and turned it slowly.

Lisa and Madi were off to one side in case something happened.

Alex cautiously opened the door and jumped to the side. when nothing happened, Alex carefully looked around the corner of the door.

"It's clear." Alex called to Lisa and Madi.

The group started down the long stairway that faced away from the door. When they where about half way down the steps, Alex stopped short.

"Stop." Whispered Alex.

Suddenly there was a slow: creak, creak, creak, creak

Alex motioned hurriedly for them to get back to the attic fast. They all started running up the stairs.

When they reached the top, they closed the door and blocked it.

If there was someone in this house, the 3 didn't want more trouble.

They stayed dead silent.

Suddenly, Alex jerked his head towards the door. Someone was on the stairs.
