TOBIAS POV:

Emily pulls up into a red-stone paved driveway. I lift my head to look up at are destination and I see a small one story building with corrugated iron walls and a standard size grey door in the centre of the building.

The roof has a mosaic of red, orange and pink types that remind me of a sunset. There are also two solar panels on the roof which strike me as weird things to have on a police station.

She clicks a button on the steering wheel which unlocks the doors. I take my hand out of my hoodie and pull the silver leaver that opens the door.

Once I get out of the car I actually take in what the car looks like. It's a black, Holden hatch back with silver wheel rims and tinted windows. It has no police lights on top of it and there is nothing written done the side.

I look at the number plate. FDJ 619. I try and work out what letters and the numbers correspond to. FDJ- 4610. 619- FS. Four and six. That really creeps me out.

I shake the thought out of my head and continue to trail behind Emily like a lost puppy.

She rings the door bell on the metal door. After about 10 seconds the door is opened by a tall, middle aged man. He has long shaggy, brown hair and big thick eyebrows.

He stands with his back toward the wall to allow us enough space to enter the small building.

The inside of the building is just as simplistic as the outside but it feels more sterile. The whole building reminds me of abnegation and my father and my body involuntarily shudders.

Emilie looks at me with concern. "Are you alright? Would you like a warmer jumper?"

I shake my head left to right, to tired to string together sentences.

Emilie scrunches her eyebrows together in subtle suspicion. But she quickly looks away.

She leads me into another blank, sterile room. There is a grey chair with electrode wires handing from the headrest and there is a table with a black box on it. It looks exactly like the chairs in the aptitude test but I feel like something a lot more sinister is going on.

"I thought I was going to a police station?" I say trying to control the shake in my voice

"You will be, later"

My heart is beating like a drum in a rock band. I try to calm my breathes down like Tris does in her fear landscape but it's not working. I need to get out of here... NOW.

"Please sit down so the assessment can begin" Emily instructs me in a monotone. She is stood next to the chair but I have remained stood between the chair and the door.

"I need to go to the bathroom" I say more abrupt then I would of liked.

"You can after the assessment"

"No, no you don't understand. I need to go NOW" My palms get sweaty and I can't control my breathes any more. What I would give to rid myself of my adrenal glands right now.

"After the assessment" Emily almost spits at me.

The man from early is at the door.

"Is everything... okay" he asks in a manor that sends shivers down my spine.

Emily's face brightens. "Yes were fine" she adds a smile at the end. The man leaves our sight but he is probably still outside the door listening in.

I breathe a few heavy breathes through my nose and grit my teeth. "Fine"

I slowly walk over to the chair. I place my hands in the side of the chair and swing my legs around onto the chair. The leather squeaks under my jeans.

She unlocks the black box and in it is a needle with yellow serum in it.

I gulp. I have never seen that serum before.

Emily is about to pick up the needle...
