"Stupid women....Don't listen t...." All that Isis could hear was Chance muttering to himself as she drifted in and out of consciousness, What happened? It was on the brick of her nose but she couldn't remember, apart from the occasional glimpses of her memory from her night she couldn't for the life of her figure out why the hell Chance was here. Let alone why he was carrying her.

"Put me down right now or I'll scream." Obviously all these years of watching scary movies hadn't taught her jack, screaming wouldn't accomplish anything as much as trying to fight him with her big stomach would, although that seemed like a worse idea then the former. Now that she thought about it she could probably just tell him he's the father and that would get him far away from her faster then any fight could. "There is no need to act like a cave man place me down so I can walk."

His eyes locked with hers for a brief moment, only to spare her a glance before ignoring her demand and continuing to walk to god knows where.

She huffed a breath then looked up to his face. "At least tell me where we're going?" This was ridiculous she was letting him carry her away! Just because he had fathered her child didn't mean she could trust him, she didn't know him any better then she knew a stranger. At least with a stranger there was no obligation him, well, she kind of had one to him. Still waiting for a reply and quickly realising she wasn't getting one she pouted and relaxed back in to him. Even if he did kill her in the end she was to tired to walk, her adrenaline rush had receded and now she was burnt out.

They rounded a corner. She could hear the galas music still blasting her anxiety slowly died the more the streets became familiar if anything she could probably make a run back. They were only a few feet away from the gala that was holding the party, while the music was still on people seemed to have left for the place was deserted and an angry Anna stood next to John, her date and a couple of security guards.

While she wondered where everyone was she refrained from asking. She instead voiced out "Did you call the police?"

"Are you okay? Why the bloody hell would I call the police? Maybe, here's a thought, because my best friend sorry I meant my pregnant best friend decided to do a dash on me just because she got her panties in a twist because of some fancy man,"  Chance had frowned at that comment, "Or I might have called the police because your lunatic..."

"Did you call the police?"

"Of course I bloody didn't call the police what would I say! my friends pregnant and she ran off from a party, no officer she's only been gone about an hour!" While logically she could see why she hadn't called the police it surprised her with all honestly it wouldnt have been a first time for Anna to have overreacted on a issue especially concerning the circumstances revolving her leaving alone when he was still out there.

"I told her not to." John spoke up when it seemed Anna had had enough yelling. Chance continued to walk past them until Anna run to stop in front.

"Hey! And where do you think you're taking her." The stare off between Anna and Chance was lethal forgetting she was still in Chances arms Isis tried to avoid being caught in the middle by pulling away only to have Chance tighten his arms.

"Home."

"Home? Home my bloody arse! She's coming with me and John."

"No, she's coming home with me."

"I don't know who you think you are but..."

Having had enough Isis decided to intervene. "Look Chance, thanks for the lift but I'm going to have to say no to going home with you,"
