Vera's POV-

Finally I have two days away from this horrid place they call school. I went to my locker as the last bell rang and grabbed my backpack. Then I started to walk home. (As she arrived in front of her house.) As I walked down the street to my driveway I notice a moving truck where the house next to us was for sale. I didn't pay much attention to the people moving in though because I was in a hurry to get to work. Then I opened the door to my house I saw pills all over the counter and my mom passed out on the floor. I picked up her unconscious limp body and layed her down on the couch and covered her with a blanket. Oh hold on I forgot to mention that somehow even though the rest of my "family" aren't werewolves I am needless to say I pissed off a very powerful witch. So I live like a human I've only changed twice and no I don't want or need a mate if they even exist if they do he'd reject me anyways. Plus I'm technically a rogue but my birthday is next week where I come of age to find my so called mate. I throw on my fight club clothes I realise they have blood splatters on them . Then i heard a knock on the door without thinking I opened it. There was a little girl about five with what looked like her parents and her brother who might I add was kinda hot. Then I notice them all staring at my shirt then strangely the young girl sniffs the air and says " why do you have blood on your shirt I look down but look back up. I couldn't think of anything and I couldn't tell them truth so I said " I found a dog on the street...somebody had hit it and umm well ... I picked it up and brought it to the vet. Everyone looked convinced except for the brother. Then they all greeted me except for the Badboy/brother who's name is Ace. They were just helping Ace move in but they don't live their just him. After about five minutes I looked down at my phone and seen fourteen missed calls and seventy three messages . Some were from my boyfriend the rest my trainer . Next thing I know my trainer Zack calls me again and I tell the family on the porch I have to take the call but will be right back. I open the door and close it quickly so they can't see the inside of the house where the pills and needles are everywhere. I lean against the door and answer the phone as Zack speaks " Where the hell are you. I told you to be here early. Remember ."I about had a heartattack when I remembered what he was talking about I grabbed my motorcycle keys and helmet thrown on a leather jacket and told Zack I'd be there in ten. Before I walked back outside I heard the little girl speak. The reason is because I have wolf hearing. "Mommy is she a rogue " the little girl asks. The mom sighs and says " We think so but we'll find out soon she won't hurt you honey " she says to her daughter in a sweet and calming manner. Then I open the door and step out " I'm sorry" I say because I have to leave."I would love to talk but I have to meet up with some people , I would love to talk later though " As those words roll off my tongue with a fake smile I mentally roll my eyes. Oh of course the mothers says nice meeting you I reply. Same to you she says. With that they walk back over to the other house. I race to the garage and hop on to my baby.
My baby-

I hopped on and sped down the street to my training facility. After I got their I practiced and then got prepped for my fight tonight. Apparently I was up against someone new. He just moved here too. Oh and I'm also very popular here because I'm a female and I'm undefeated. Then I heard the announcer guy speak ." All right all right" the crowd goes silent "We have someone new tonight who just moved out all the way from New York." The crowd cheers. (BTW this is california)
" But..." He says and the crowd goes silent again ." Don't forget the undefeated ,quick on her feet,barely seen...Shadow!!" The crowd goes wild as I step on to the stage. The person im about fight eyes widen but go back to normal as fast as they widened.
