Ace's POV:
As I start to head to the door I saw " Vera's" door swing open and Vera calling after her mom. " Mom, ugh come on mom." Vera said sighing. As I looked at her mom I noticed she was dropping stuff then with my werewolf vision I looked closer and saw what it was. It was pills and needles that looked like they were for drugs. I saw Vera use her strength and speed to bring her mom back in the house. After about ten minutes of trying to comprehend what happened I walked up to Vera's door and knocked. She opened the door and before she could say anything she passed out but I caught her before she hit the ground. I picked her up and walked into her house. I walked through the house to find the couch. I walked into the kitchen and saw pills and drugs. I walked into the next room and saw it was the living room. I sat her down on the couch and turned the TV on.
Vera's POV :
I jolted awake but calmed down when I smelled mint and pine then flipped again when I saw Ace sitting on my couch next to me. I started to dig in my pocket for my phone but tried to be quiet so that Ace didn't know I was awake yet. As I pulled it out it dinged causing him to look at me.Then I saw my notifications looked to see that Nick was pissed.
Nick:
Where are you?
Answer me!
Hello?
Vera pick up the phone
Your in trouble next time I see you.
You whore pick up your phone.
Answer now.
I swear Vera pick up the phone👿.
25 missed calls from Nick.
