It was Sunday, and me and Bryan were in my room on the floor playing Go Fish. "Got any seven's?" I asks. He shakes my head. "Go fish." I take a card from our messy pile.

"Got any queen's?"

I shake my head. "Go fish." He sighs and takes a card. "So," I ask as I glance at my cards. "What type of cancer to do you have?"

He looks up. "Oh. I just have normal cancer. Just the type your grandparents gets when he or she gets really old. If you know what I mean." I lift an eyebrow up. "Ok then. I know what you're saying. Does it hurt?"

Bryan gives me a puzzled look. "Like, I know that people have like chest pains, headaches, and all that." He nods. "Yeah, I get that."

I nod. "But how come when I'm with or near you, you don't have those reactions?" Bryan smiles and shrugs.

"Maybe because you're like my cure."

My eyes widen. "Wait what?" He doesn't say anything and puts his cards in front of me. "All seven's." I roll my eyes and grin and collect all the cards. "I hear that you also have cancer."

I give him a look. "If you mean by the zodiac cancer, then yes." Bryan nods. "That's what I meant." I nod. "Oh, ok. Well, Jasmine, you know her right?" He nods. "Yeah. Three years ago me and Emmy went over to her and Emmy made me get my zodiac or whatever. And I got cancer."

He nods. "Well, you don't really seem like a cancer person." My jaw drops. "Finally! Someone who agrees with me!" Bryan laughs. "But, sometimes you do." I stick my tongue out and put the cards away and sit back down.

"Let's go on an adventure."

I raise an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" I ask. "Well, we could go somewhere and explore." I laugh. "Ok Bryan. Washington state is boring. I mean, it's Washington!" He laughs. "Nice explanation. But what I mean is that we could like go on a road trip, like Seattle!"

"But Seattle is two hours away, and it's 3. By the time we get back it'll be late. Plus Nathan's gonna kill me!"He shrugs. "He doesn't need to know." I think for a moment. "You sure?" Bryan nods. "C'mon!" I sigh. "Fine." "Yes!"

He gets up. "But first, we need to get some supplies." I get up. "Like?" He taps his chin. "Oo! A blanket, pillows, sweaters, and tons of food."I nod. "Ok then."

I get my blankets and pillows, and my sweater. We leave my room and put all the supplies in the seats. "Wait!" I go back inside and write a note to my Nathan then come back outside. "Let's go."

Bryan tilts his head. "What were you doing?" I shrug. "Just writing a note to my parents." He nods and we get in the car. He drives over to his house and gets out. "I'll just get the food." I nod.

Few minutes later, he comes back with three large bags of chips and some bottled water. I open the door for him and he sumps all the bags at me. "Ok. I also left a note for my parents. Let the trip begin!"

Just an hour to go.

But to me, it seemed to be 244737475 hours.

Bryan could not stop singing! He apparently had Beyonce's new album cd, and he kept replaying "Drunk In Love". It was horrifying. "Ok Bryan, let's stop the singing. We're almost here right?"

He inhales sharply. "Um, not quite." I face him. "What do you mean?" He looks at the road. "I'm pretty sure there's an accident, so an hour more until we reach there."

My eyes widen. "No! Why, why why!" I grip my hair. "My brother is gonna kill me." I mutter. Bryan laughs. "Your brother isn't going to kill you." I nod repeatedly. "Yes she will." He sighs. "Well ok then."

Surprisingly the accident only took about thirty minute so we got there to Seattle just minutes late. "Hey, I'm starving. Cane we go to an ice cream shop?" I shrug. "If you can find one." He nods and drives around Seattle.

"Aha! Cold Stone."

Bryan parks and we go and enter the ice cream place. "Hello sir, ma'am, what can I get you?" I tap my chin. "Um, can I get cookies and cream ice cream?" The cashier nods and Bryan nods. "Mint chocolate chip please." He pays and we wait to get our ice cream.

"Here you go."

"Thank you." Bryan pays and we grab out frozen treat. We go outside and side at the curb, licking our ice cream. "So, where do you want to go?" he asks me. I shrug. "I dunno, you were the one who made up the idea."

He nods. "Well, we could go to the Space Needle, if you want." I nod back. "K." We sit in silence, while licking our ice cream occasionally.

Then, Bryan clutches his chest. "Are you ok?" I ask. He nods but keeps clutching and closes his eyes. "Um Bryan?" He sighs. "I'm fine." I worry about him sometimes.

We finish our ice cream, and then we head back to the car. "Was that one of your reactions?" I ask. He nods. "I haven't had it in a long time. Which was like a month ago." I nod. "Oh."

Bryan turns the engine on and drives to the Space Needle.

"Welcome to the Space Needle! Here is a guide of you visit, thank you for coming and joining us!"

The guide person handed our group a pamphlet of the history of the Space Needle. "Now, up to the elevator!" We go inside the elevator, and I stare at the view, watching it get smaller.

Bryan pokes me. "This seems fun." I nod. "Yeah. Seattle's so pretty at night." He nods back.

We reach the top of the building, and we got to explore the view. "Hey, look." Bryan points. There was a telescope, to see things closer. I out my eye in to see, and find Bryan up close. "What the heck!" I shout. He laughs. "Oops, sorry." He says, not sorry at all.

I huff. "Meanie."

He laughs, eyes crinkling. "Sorry." I smile a bit. "You guys are so cute together!" We turn around and find the two elderly women in our group. My eyes widen. "Oh, well we're not dating." They blush. "Sorry about that. But you fooled me there." The other woman said.

They leave us, and we stand in awkward silence. "That was weird." Bryan points out. I nod. "Yup."

After that we went home, and it was 9:30 by the time we got to my house. "So, I'll see you soon?" He asks. I nod. "Thanks again." He nods. "Welcome." I get out of the car and grab my stuff. "Bye!" I wave to him.

"See you!"
