I didn't notice this before, but his eyes were blue, with some gold in them. His hair blonde, and some brown highlights. Our breathes become heavy, and he just stares.
"Cheyanne, Bryan, what are you doing?"
Oh shoot.
My eyes widen, and I push Bryan off and stand up. "What? Oh, that was nothing. We were just talking and-why are you here?"
I panic and breath heavily. What am I going to do now? I know Nathan has always been overprotective, but right now I just need a mom to help me get through this.
Think, think! I think to myself. "You don't need to know that Chey, but why is he here?" Nathan asks, over exaggerating he as he points to Bryan. Ok. I'm in deep trouble now.
"Cheyanne,"
And here comes the trouble.
"You know how I feel about boys in the house. Now as a boy, I know how they think, feel, and poop. You didn't need to hear the poop part."
I turns to Bryan and find him slightly disturbed about what my brother just said. "Anyway, boys are dangerous. Besides me. Got it?" By the time he finished his little speech, his face was all red and he looked like he was going to murder someone anytime soon.
Now besides all Nathan's tattoos, he a sweet, lovable brother. But put the words Cheyanne and boy in the same sentence, he'll go all murder on you. Not kidding.
I gulp and nod. "And Brennan,"
"It's Bryan."
Nathan scoffs and ignores Bryan's correction. "I don't mind you hanging out with my sister, but I'm keeping an eye on you." He puts two fingers on his eyes, then to Bryan and walks away.
I roll my eyes. "Sorry about that."
Bryan smiles. "It's ok."
We stand there in silence, and I look around my room. "So, I guess I should leave. Since we have school tomorrow." I nod and he climbs out of my window. I laugh. "What?" He asks, holding on the branch of my tree.
"You could just use the front door."
"Oh. Well this way is cooler."
I roll my eyes and wave at him, as he leaves.

"O."
"M."
"G."
My eyes widen as Emmy and Lucy squeal and jump around. We were at school and suddenly I regret being friends with them. Well, sometimes.
"Oh my gosh shut up. You're so annoying." I whine as they keep on fangirling. "You and Bryan, oh my gosh, ahhhh!!" Emmy shouts. People look to stare and I smack her. "Shut up." I mutter.
Lucy rolls her eyes. "Who peed in your pants this morning?" she asks. I sigh. "No one. now let's leave."
"Do you like Bryan?"
"No."
"Do you want to date him?"
"No."
"Are you sure?"
"Just shush."
We walk to our classes as we keep talking, adn sit in our asignned seats. They both turn their chairs to me, and grin. "Tell us more. Now." Lucy demands. I shake my head. "Why one earth should I?" They both make a face. "Just because! Please." I shake my head again. They're so stubborn i just don't know why.
Then I see Bryan enter the room and Emmy and Lucy smirk. I give them a puzzled look. "What? go up to him!" They drag me to the seat Bryan was at and run back. I roll my eyes and find Bryan looking at me, and smiling. My eyes widen. "Oh um, hi." I say in the most coolest way possible. He laughs and I silently scold myself. "Hey."
I look over and find my two "nice and caring" friends waving and grinning like mad men. I'm so gonna murder them when we get home. I look back and smile awkwardly at him. "Be right back." I walk over to Emmy and Lucy and flick them.
"That ws the most awkward converstion ever I hate you guys what theme do you want your funerals to be?"
They look at me with horror and then laugh loudly. "You love us enough to not murder us so we're not that scared." I roll my eyes and the teacher comes in the class, and I look over finding Bryan staring right back.

"So Cheyanne, you know the movie the Fault in Our Stars right?" I nod. "It's like the best movie ever." I state to Emmy. She nods back. "Well you know how Augustus and Hazel Grace are in love right?" I groan. "Get on with it."
Emmy rolls her eyes. "Well, I think that you and him have like you're own little infinite, like you're Hazel and he's Augustus!"
I sigh. "But I don't have cancer, we didn't meet at some cancer group, and we did not go to Amsterdam. Plus we don't like each other." She shrugs. "So? It's still cute. I just hope that Bryan doesn't die." I smack her. "Weirdo."
She grins. "Yeah, I know." Then, someone knowck on the door three times. "BRYAN GO AWAY WE'RE TALKING ABOUT GIRLY STUFF LIKE SHOPPING AND TAMPONS!" I laugh loudly and fall on my back, while laughing and Emmy starts laughing too."What the, tampons?" I say through my laughter. Emmy just conintues laughing and then stops.
"Wait." She runs downstairs and hear talking. A few minutes later she comes back up. "You're brother's here." I nod and grab my stuff, heading downstairs. I find Nathan glaring at Bryan, and Bryan looking like he wished the floor would eat him up.
"Hey." I walk over to Nathan and we leave, waving to Emmy and Bryan. "How was school?" He asks as we go inside the car and drive back home. I shrug. "Fine." We sit in silence and I perk up. "What's wrong with you?" I ask.
Nathan laughs. "Well aren't you nice." I laugh back. "I'm serious. You need to tell me because for once I'm worried." He sighs and we reach home. "Well since it's my last year of college, I took an interview for this job I really wanted." I nod. "And I got in."
I grin. "That's great Nathan! But why's that bad news?" I ask.
"Well, it's out of state." My eyes widen. First, my mom and dad leave for work, and now him? He sees the worry in my eyes and talks. "But I might not take the job." I shake my head and smile. "No, it's ok. You wanted it, so go get it." I go inside the house and he follows me. "Are you sure?" I nod and pat his head. "If you want."
I go up to my room and sigh really loudly. I have to admit, if Nathan does leave, I'll miss him, a lot. And that I'll have no where else to go because I'm pretty sure it's not legal for a 15 year old to live by themselves. I'd ask my parents, but they're too busy to even stay at home for 5 minutes without making a phone call.
I just don't know anymore.
