Periwinkle

I woke up to pounding on my door. "What?!" I snapped. I heard a gasp. "Woman I did not fly over-" PERIWINKLE! I jumped out of bed as she continued to rant. I yanked open the door and tackled her in a hug.

"You're human sized!!" I shouted. She laughed. "Well do you think I'm gonna go to your school being 6 inches tall?" Peri asked me. I laughed and pulled her into my room, shutting the door behind us.

"Where are your wings?" I asked walking over to the window. "Uhhh... that's a long story..." she trailed off. "I got time." I said looking at the clock. I didn't have to leave till it's time for lunch. Then after lunch I have one exam. "Well...."

I get out of the shower and walk into my bedroom with a robe wrapped around my body. Periwinkle laid on my bed in an entirely new outfit. Wait that looks like.... "Are those my clothes?" I asked.

"Yea." She responded shortly still looking at her phone. I let out a giggle and walked into my closet.

What do I want to wear today? I could be really petty or.... I could be lazy.... Lazy it is! I threw on some sweatpants and a sweatshirt and timberland boots. I put on ruby earrings to give a pop of color.

"What time is it?" I asked peri, as I walked back into the bedroom. "Uh.... 10:30, why?" She responded. "We have lunch in an hour." I explained. She hmm'd in response. "So any cute guys?" She asked sitting up.

"Eh, though I think you and jay will get along well." I told her. "Scale of one to Gaston, in looks." She asked. "9." "That high? Ooo, does he have big arms?" Her eyes lit up. I laughed, "he does have pretty nice arms." She cheered. "He better have a good personality to go along with 'em."

After a while it was time to walk to lunch. Let's just say Peri's a little too hyper. "Come on Ari!" She shouted to me running down the hallway of the castle. "Woman! Could you wait?!" I snapped trying to catch-up to her.

I turned the corner and she was hunched over breathing heavily. "How do humans do this?" She heaved. I laughed. "You have bigger lungs with a bigger body now hun, get used to it." I walked past her. "But I'm a fairy!" She called after me. "And I'm a mermaid! Great! Now that we've depicted our DNA can we go to lunch?" I turned back to her. She ran past me then suddenly stopped. "I don't know where I'm going." I laughed and guided her to the outside tables.

Everyone was already sitting down. I walked up and Rose was staring at me from her table. Carlos patted the seat next to him, waiting for me. I pretended not to notice and sit next to mal. "Everyone this is periwinkle." I introduced. They all greeted her with friendly smiles and hellos. "Mal, Evie, Carlos, Doug, Ben, and Jay..." I pointed out each one of them. Her eyes lit up at jay. She walked behind him and her jaw dropped. 'His arms!' She mouthed to me in shock. I smiled, containing my laughter.

"Would you like to sit down?" Jay asked her, moving over to make room for her on the bench. She sat down next to him and discreetly looked him up and down before nodding and stealing some of ben's food. "Sup, little beast." She acknowledged him. He breathed out a laugh. "I'm 5 feet taller than you periwinkle." He smirked at her. "Touché." She grumbled.

"Uh... Ben, I hate to break your ego but she's not 6 inches tall." Evie told him. Periwinkle laughed. "Well technically he's right." She said. Evie furrowed her brows.

Periwinkle snapped her fingers and there was a puff of smoke and she became tiny, with wings. "Well this is new." Carlos mumbled. I heard Rose's minions gasp. I looked over and their  jaws were dropped at periwinkle. "What never seen a fairy before?!" Peri shouted at them but it all came out as bells to them. They all quickly went back to what they were doing.
