The enchanted river

"I'm going on a date with Mal" Ben said running up to me. "You have it set up?" I asked. He nodded. I looked at him in the eyes and there was a purplish tint in his eyes. Where have I seen that before? "It's what I've been doing most of this morning." I smiled. "Oh and seriously? You'll give her the whole kingdom just to get a kiss?" I asked with raised eyebrows. "It's an expression." He said slowly as if I was gonna kick him where the sun don't shine. "Go get her." I said smiling. He smiled And he ran off.

I Laid in bed with one tear falling everyonce in a while. There was a knock on my door. "Come in!" I shouted. The door opened and Ben walked in. I quickly whipped away the tears. Thank goodness it's dark. "Hey, so Mal and I went on a date." He said. "So I've noticed." I said smirking. He laughed and sat next to me. "How was it?" I asked. "She gave me a love potion." He said. That's what the tint was! Love potions have a pink coloring that affects the eyes, that's why his eyes looked purple. "She told you?" I asked confused.

"No, I took a swim in the enchanted river. Which tomorrow morning I'm talking you to because you have been out of the water too long. Usually you only last a week. But it's been two weeks. Huh, odd. It was the cookie which explains you being flirty with Carlos. And your eyes are purple." He said. "I'm not being flirty!" I defended.

He laughed. "I'll come get you around 6 in the morning, so we have time to get there get back with an hour for you to get ready." He explained. I nodded sleepily. "Goodnight." He whispered and kissed my forehead. Then he left my room. "Goodnight Ben." I whispered when the doors closed before falling asleep.

"Come on Ari!" Ben shouted pulling me from my bed that I was grasping onto. "Let me sleep!" I shouted. "I'll buy you a frappe." He said going to a last resort. "You should've led with that." I said letting go and standing up. He sighed. I walked over to my closet and walked inside closing the door behind me. I grabbed a black bikini and changed into it. I put on a boy's shirt and put on spandex shorts. I grabbed a pair of running shoes and put them on. I put my hair in a bun and walked out of the closet.

I sat on my motorcycle in a bikini with and over shirt and spandex. I was wearing shoes, don't worry. I was also racing Ben. And let's just say I'm winning. I arrived at the parking lot before the bridge that connected to the enchanted river. No more than a minute later Ben pulled up next to me. I ran towards the bridge and walked across. Ben followed me. Soon enough we reached the river. I took off my shoes and as soon as I did I was lifted up from behind and brought up to the little cliff that hung over the river. Ben dropped me in and I screamed. He laughed. I glared up at him. I took off my now wet shorts and shirt and threw them up on the little patio thing. Ben jumped in and I giggled. He swam over to me and I handed him my crystal cuff. When I took it off, my tail appeared replacing my legs. He swam over to the patio and set them next to my clothes. We swam around for a while and collected pretty rocks like we did as kids before we decided to go back. Ben handed me my cuff. I put it on and my tail slowly disappeared. And now I was in the same swim suit as before. I climbed out and grabbed my clothes. I could feel the weight of love potion was gone, I smiled sadly... what was the point of a love spell?
