Chapter Seven
†Purple Pizzazz
†Mira's POV†
I smiled as I went to school the next day, I would be able to see Reese!
Since when did I get excited about this? I shook my head as I curled my
straight hair. I was going to try and impress Reese today. But I knew that I
shouldn't. I shouldn't get attached. But its too late for that now. I have
fallen hard. I know that any girl would kill to be in my shoes. I was Cale
Kress's little sister. Bryce Knight's best friend. I was a cross country star. I
had awesome friends. Taylor was my body guard. I had an amazing life
here. I hope that nothing could screw that up. I smiled as my brother talked
about being excited to see Taylor today. She was younger than him, yes,
but not by too much. I shook my head slowly realizing why I had gotten
pretty today. I was trying to impress him, why? Don't I have standards?
Why did I let myself do this? I puffed my cheeks and got out of the car. I
have no control over how Reese acts. I bit my lip as I neared his parking
place. His Mango Tango bike was sitting there, beautiful as always with a
guy leaning next to it running his hands through his hair.
"Shouldn't you be getting to class?" I said to him flirtatiously. He looked up
and when he saw me his eyes bugged out of his face.
"Mira.... You look.. beautiful." I blushed and looked down. He came and
took my wrist,
"Don't be insecure about yourself, you are absolutely beautiful!" I bit my lip,
if he only knew why I was insecure...
"Peanut Butter, we should be going inside..." He smiled a little and nodded.
We walked into the school together and parted ways but then he said,
"Mira, after practice, can I drive you somewhere?" I bit my lip and said,
"You have to ask my dad, and Cale of course..." He smiled and nodded,
"See ya!" I watched as he left, running down the hallway,
"Bye..."

I yawned as I listened to my history teacher drone on about the war we
were talking about. I wasn't listening, I was only paying attention to my
brain. Finally the bell rang and he gave us our assignment. I raced out of
there and I bumped into Reese's best friend, Zachary Crewe. I don't know
why he was in this hall and then I saw my best friend holding his hand,
Marley Banks and Zachary Crewe are together. Who would've thought.
Marley told him bye and as she left she squealed and spilled everything. I
was so happy for her, but I was also very jealous that she could be happy. I
